New Hampshire, NH(Zone 5b)

I'm about to do some more damage at Fairweather (now that I have a catalog!). Does anyone have any evergreen viburnums? If so, which one(s) and would you recommend?

Thanks

Thomaston, CT

Yes, Pixie, I always buy something from them.....the plants are always in great condition!

Pragense, Christina. I ordered way more too. Still have to post it.

i added to my jm order at topiary today - crimson carole and otome zakura - i think the otome will be real nice as diana just laughed because she has been going back and forth with about not selling it and saving it for herself - not any more :)

Does anyone know if there is an iphone app for DG? I can't seem to use it easily on mine. It's very hard to navigate around and read the screens.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No. Been asking forever. It is very hard with the size, though I do manage.

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

Ordered a few DLs.....Country Melody, Eye of Round,Indy Electrified, Mask of Time, and peony Coral Charm.....I'm through catalog ordering, but may find some stuff at the nurseries.......

South Hamilton, MA

Coral Charm is quite pretty. I am not ordering anything until I see ground, If I miss out, it's just tough luck.

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

The bottom drawer of my refrigerator is stuffed full of peony tubers and lily bulbs after today. Wow..

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

That peony coral charm is lovely! Nice DL selections, was looking at Country Melody the other day thinking it was a nice pink bitone with edge.

Thomaston, CT

I do have a lot of pinks, but I do love them! Dem, thanks for reminding me.....I put a half dozen dahlia tubers in my Mom's down cellar fridge this past fall.....guess I better take them home!

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

LOL, only one of mine survived last year, had canna's in the same box and they were fine. Oh well...I just went out and scored some at the home depot in Waterbury.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

saw that bartzilla peony from jung for $69 - 2-3 eyes, will have to check klehm's again.

Thomaston, CT

It's really a pretty peony, but I decided on the coral....cheaper, too! Dem, I sometimes hit that HD, but like the one in Torrington better......

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

Went there to order flooring, so pissed over the drunks in front of the store Will NOT go back. Didn't see them next thing I got one in front and one coming up on side, wanted to sing me a song, and a smoke...Scared the you know what, store could've cared less.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Did you call the cops?

Thomaston, CT

Sounds like Waterbury! The Torrington store is a little classier......some guys harrassed me as I was walking Suey over the dam earlier this week....but what do you tell the cops? That they were saying "Hi" & whistling? I had been walking with Buzzy the birdman for about a mile, then he left.....these guys were parked at the end watching....gave me the creeps......wish I was walking Robs....he would have threatened them.....

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

They put the building next to a homeless shelter and down the street from a halfway house. Manager says "Home Depot will not pay for security outside".Robindog be careful!!!!!! Walk smart and aware, big stick and bigger dog doesn't hurt! Walk with someone or with a group.

Thomaston, CT

The dam is pretty exposed, & many cars are about including the rangers.....I usually feel safe.....today, about 4-5 cars passed me by......I hope those creeps were just an isolated incident.....

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Loitering, harassment, both illegal

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

After Cheshire and New Britain incident I lock my doors all the time, if I walk in from the garden, the door locks behind me. Times are different.

South Hamilton, MA

Heavens, we have always locked our doors, even in the 1940s.

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

Not here, everything has changed. Of course, my job helped.

Thomaston, CT

I'm so happy to have a nasty dog.....and he sounds it! After the Cheshire murders, I could not sleep at night, even though DH was still alive.....but I kept telling myself Robs would be there for me.....

Locks only keeps honest people out. A crook will get in any place

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

True lady, but a lock will keep honest people honest.
