i added to my jm order at topiary today - crimson carole and otome zakura - i think the otome will be real nice as diana just laughed because she has been going back and forth with about not selling it and saving it for herself - not any more :)

Thanks, Victor. I ended up not getting one after noticing the zone 6 :( I almost got the 'Fuji Waterfall' and Kalmia 'Freckles' too - but then I noticed zone 6 on the hydrangea and for some reason I've never had any luck with mountain laurel.

Ordered a few DLs.....Country Melody, Eye of Round,Indy Electrified, Mask of Time, and peony Coral Charm.....I'm through catalog ordering, but may find some stuff at the nurseries.......

Coral Charm is quite pretty. I am not ordering anything until I see ground, If I miss out, it's just tough luck.

The bottom drawer of my refrigerator is stuffed full of peony tubers and lily bulbs after today. Wow..

That peony coral charm is lovely! Nice DL selections, was looking at Country Melody the other day thinking it was a nice pink bitone with edge.

I do have a lot of pinks, but I do love them! Dem, thanks for reminding me.....I put a half dozen dahlia tubers in my Mom's down cellar fridge this past fall.....guess I better take them home!

Sounds like Waterbury! The Torrington store is a little classier......some guys harrassed me as I was walking Suey over the dam earlier this week....but what do you tell the cops? That they were saying "Hi" & whistling? I had been walking with Buzzy the birdman for about a mile, then he left.....these guys were parked at the end watching....gave me the creeps......wish I was walking Robs....he would have threatened them.....

They put the building next to a homeless shelter and down the street from a halfway house. Manager says "Home Depot will not pay for security outside".Robindog be careful!!!!!! Walk smart and aware, big stick and bigger dog doesn't hurt! Walk with someone or with a group.

The dam is pretty exposed, & many cars are about including the rangers.....I usually feel safe.....today, about 4-5 cars passed me by......I hope those creeps were just an isolated incident.....

After Cheshire and New Britain incident I lock my doors all the time, if I walk in from the garden, the door locks behind me. Times are different.
