Weeze, I bought Purple Ghost last year....I was very disappointed with it when it came....washed out looking, & strangely shaped. I gave it to my son, he planted it, & in a month the color was darker....he also pruned & staked it, so it was looking quite nice. If yours is not what you were hoping for, wait awhile.

I can definitely relate to the spending secret! I set up a separate checking account for my gardening stash! It's not really hidden from my husband because he knows it exists, but it does keep him from knowing just how MUCH I spend :). I found out a long time ago that if he sees it coming out of our regular shared account, he starts to complain about my purchases at some point. If he doesn't see the transactions, he says nothing :)

Hee hee. No separate accounts or credit cards for us, but I handle all the bills and finances!!

Added to the FW order. Cut it down but still spent more than the original order! Will post later.

I always try to hide how much I spend from myself. It is bad enough that the bank knows about it!

I once told the nursery cashier not to tell me my credit card total - didn't look either.

my wife would have my head if she knew - we have separate accounts - woks both ways though - she hides what she spends on hairdressers, shoes and clothes

I always had a separate checking & savings account......Mom told me to....guess she didn't think my marriage would last!

Am I training my daughter or what? She tells me today she wants to go to the "flower shop"...so I had to think what garden center would be open so that we could look at flowers....
I think I mentioned last year there is a a garden center/gift shop on the other side of town the gift shop they have is AMAZING, there are different sections for all types of themes....currently when you walk in it's decorated for Valentine's they even painted the floor with hearts and stuff, everything for V-day is 50% off so of course I had to buy some stuff, very dangerous store....I'll take a pic of the stuff I got when I get some new batteries for my camera

The closest store is adding a grocery area so they rearranged everything, took me a little longer than normal to find stuff

It's warming up here, not enough to melt much snow, but I did find my Full Moon, it's okay, a few others not so much. My hubby says, "don't sweat it", buy new stuff and he'll did me new holes! Gotta love a man who willing wields a shovel.

Just finished up my High Country Gardens order, hope hubby's doesn't open the next bank statement.

How could I have bought 35 different kinds of vegetable seeds? Do I not know how small my growing area is? *slapping self upside the head*

LOL, Memory.....I did that last year with glads....everytime I saw a bag, I bought it....then I was looking for creative places to plant them.....nice choices, Victor.....like the cala lilies....dem, know what you mean about the snow.....it's in the 40's but there is no grass showing at all!

Can't wait for the flower show in couple of weeks, I need a shot of spring bad! I think I'm going to try to go there Friday instead of waiting for the weekend, maybe less people....

Right off exit 29A on 91, Ct convention center. Hubby usually drives, but he''s working that weekend, new rotating schedule (which stinks by the way)so I'm soloing it.

moving to the big time here - ordered a labler and tape - next is the expensive little stakes - this will mean no more pages to lug around if i ever have another ru :)
