Yeah, the dw pic was my undoing! Bill, did you get one also? Nice description here:

What will burn up your credit card 2011 #3
yes i did - mine is from broken arrow nursery, same size as fw's except in 2 gal vs. 1 gal - had not ordered from them before and they had good reviews so i gave them a shot - min. on-line order is 125 though so i was "forced" to pick up a couple other dw's and something else i can't remember right now.
what a "tragedy" :)
I have "Sea of Dreams" circled also, SOJ....love it! Won 2 DLs on the lily auction....Gavin Petit & Paradise Tanager
Nice!
Anyone have any experience with Acer tegmentosum ‘Joe Witt’ ? I might need to append to my order...
Don't have it.
Was perusing the FW catalog last night and I'm in trouble. Even a number of perennials catching my eye, including some epimedium.
Songs - I am so envious of your order!!!! I've got to find some space so I can get some dw and more jm's. Grew up with wild dw's. First to flower in the spring. Used to take drives when they were in bloom and see them in the understories of oak trees.

Many dw's are not big at all.
Wha, broken arrow is close by to me, they have nice stock, somewhat pricey at times but very nice staff, got Wolf Eye from there last year. Beautiful shape.
Songs, I love that DW! It looks like it will make it through the NH winters too! Yahoo! When does it bloom at your place? I 'm hoping we'll be back up there when it blooms.
According to the description, it will bloom late spring/early summer. So I'd guess somewhere between mid-May to early June? When do you come back to the frozen tundra? :)
We'll be back just in time!! I think that one's on my list! How are you surviving the NH winter? Unbelievable photos of the snow!
placed my veggy seed orders today between burpee (t-plants) territorial seed (mammoth basil and some other seeds) and pinetree seeds (a long list of everything else)
Just sealed the envelope on the Fairweather order.
DL Brandy and Cream
SIB Sea of Dreams
Acer Purple Ghost
Cornus k Akatsuki
Davidia Dove tree
Fothergilla Blue Mist
Hydrangea Fuji no Taki
Magnolia Rose Marie
Nice. No online order??
Have Blue Mist and Fuji.
very nice order weeze - will have to look again at blue mist.
Did my veggie seed shopping this weekend. I swear it is an addiction!
I am having lots of trouble narrowing the list of FW additions. As it stands now, it is more than double my original order.
At least with seeds you can go nuts and still not spend $100.
No, did the old fashioned check and pen via snail mail. I think I heard my CC sigh in relief. Bill, don't you have Blue Mist?
I had that same trouble Victor. Took a month to get it manageable.
That cornus is popular! I have too many variegated plants in the only area I could put it.
I don't have many variegated and though generally I prefer florida to kousa, that one looks outstanding.
Right now I prefer florida to ny as my kousa is frozen.
^_^ ^_^ ^_^
"They're" predicting 57º for next Friday. Yippee!
Well, I can't believe you are really saying that, Victor!!! FLorida over THE city and State???????????????? Tell me it ain't so!!!!!!!! LOL
I heard. Same for Saturday. We're going to the city for the weekend. Will see Swan Lake.
ooooh, LOVE Swan Lake!!
Will be my first ballet.
Thank goodness you got your knee replaced then.
Not to mention the shave.
I noticed FW has a redbud named Little Woody. Bill already has one. ^_^
We have a little restaurant in town called Woody's and they have a t-shirt with a pic of sun behind table of breakfast food and it says "Morning Woody is the best"
Oh man Oh man!!!!! ^_^ So glad I was not sipping a beverage
Funny, Jen!
Good one! LOL

LOL, to funny.
Heard on the radio this morning that most married couples keep some spending secret from their spouses. Man, is that ever true of gardeners! My wife probably would have kicked me out long ago.
