I think she's trying to convince her human Mom that she is the best fur Mom Eros could have, so he should stay right where he is - with his doting Mom. lol
What will burn up your credit card 2011 #3
I say Eros is very happy in Denville, NJ. Home is where the heart is, and Eros's heart is in Denville....not to mention Mom's ((Allison))
Iris I think it's the other way around.. now that they are calming down a bit .. she wants to play with them more.. rather than the two of them ganging up on her... she can handle the crazies now... when they get too nuts.. she just pins them down.. all too funny.. think you guys are right.. Lily wants him to stay now too!!!.. now if I can just convince Jily that Eros is just picking on her because he loves her.. LOL.. for whatever reason he LOVES to jump on her and make her cranky... she growls at him.. everyone knows she is full of bull... so he keeps doing it.. over and over.. just like a little kid... come on play.. come on play.. come on play.. LOL
We re-visit our childhood through our kids, and our pets.
We can identify the emotions we grew up experiencing, and just hope that what we learned over the decades can be passed along.
I should not have opened the brecks catalog ... and I know better... but looked anyway
LOL!
the re-blooming astible caught my eye

thanks Celeste and Allison, I was already there and also liked that blue eyed mary!!!
It's lovely...story of my life though...zone envy! LOL
Have you guys had luck with Brecks? I tend to use the catalogs more as a shopping guide, then buy local. Special order is my friend!
I've had good luck with the lily bulbs....thats about all I tried I think.
hit & miss.... shopping guide is a good way to put it
Wow - reblooming astilbe would be great, if it actually did.
Finalizing a JM order.
Is this hideous winter influencing your ordering?? It definitely is mine. I am finding myself ordering more to soothe my depression.
Yes.
The weather will put a damper on mine, since I don't think spring will ever get here.
I'm in Victor's category. I have ordered a LOT more this year compared to the last two.
yes Victor it is.... starting some geranium seeds this weekend... that will help as well
I don't think I've ordered anymore than usual, but when I get into a store, I may be a tad more impulsive.....I've seen Visions in Red astilbe before, but never saw it advertised as a rebloomer......
Placed my JM order - much bigger than I had planned! Will post it later.
Still plan a sizable conifer order and B & B order. Probably a decent-sized Deer Resistant order too.
i'ver ordered way more and did it early so now i am iching to order more - will tackle the veggy seeds order tomorrow.
looking forward to that list victor!
I've ordered alot too....
I've only orderd a clem so far, waiting for the local nursery
Just added more to bluestone order :)
No order at all, but I have been looking.
Received my Order and check back from Burpee's,.....apparently I can't add.LOL, oh well, I guess I'll do it online now and take the guess work out of the equation!
What are you planting for veggies, Bill? I ordered some baby bell peppers in a variety of colors....will start them next month. Flower seed orders have been coming in....should start some of the seeds this week....dem....any local nurseries you like?
just the normal t's eggpant, peppers, squash, ect... - getting rid of most of my older seeds since they do not germinate so good - did not get to the list although picked up some seeds at hd for t's, pepper, 2 summer squash, and basil. also got a couple burpee seed starter kits with mats to reduce watering like gardener supply or park seed offer.
i will post what i end up ordering next week
Sounds like what I'm planting, but I need to try something new.....
Am planting the usual suspects, plus some of the newer hybrid eggplants, also had luck with the "magda" squash. Early, slightly nutty flavor, great on the grill. As far as favorite nurseries, For water garden it's Hoskings in Watertown. They have a great horticulturist on staff also. I love Winterberry in Southington/Bristol, but pricey! The garden barn in vernon is huge, great selection. Broken arrow in Hamden is good, again pricey.
JM order from Davidsan:
Royle, Abigail Rose, Bashful, Kandy Kitchen, Murasaki kiyohime, A. sieboldianum Del's Dwarf and A. buergerianum Miyasama yatsubusa.

Some new names to my inexperienced (but enthusiastic) eyes; I'll have to look 'em up.
Hmmmm..J M? Please advise, I am unfamilar.
Japanese Maple
Thanks, dem, for the nurseries....I'm at Hoskings frequently because it's so close.....usually to get stuff in the gift shop, but I found an unusual African violet there a few weeks ago....the other ones you mentioned I've never tried.....Victor, I like the name Abigail Rose.....can't wait to see them!
I love Hoskins "Bug off Spritser" smells great and works like a charm.
