That was the response I was looking for. You did not disappointment me....You go "Girl". Sharon.
Plant Propagation part XXVIII based on my own experience
Those rain lillies are beautiful, how big are they? Do you know what the zone limits are? Do you think they would survive her in the "artic"
Actually, it is 9 in the morning and is 31. What a change from the last two weeks!!! Maybe there is hope for spring yet. Lee
We had heavy, cold winds yesterday and all night and they are continuing today. I'm going to take my propane heater and hide out in my sewing room as soon as I post this
Jen, glad you enjoyed the "agony of de feet" pun. I must give redit to comedian Ryan Styles; glad I finally got a chance to use it.
Between the cold wind and the agony of my neighbors I was very depressed yesterday and spend most of the day huddled in bed. I will say that one of the greatest gifts of being sober is that I know these things will pass and I feel much better today. Still don't want to talk about what happened - suffice it to say it was unpleasant and I still feel like crap. I'll maybe say more later whnen it's not so fresh. I will survive and I think it's safe to say that we are done with each other.
I'm off to warm up and maybe do some sewing.
hugs, katie
Look like refrigerator magnets to me. LOL
Looks like we crossposted Katie.
Can't respond to something we don't know anything about. However, I will say that you should not allow the neighbors to drive you to bed. Kinda like letting them think they "won".
Very cute Linda. LOL, they don't look happy do they?
so who lives at the airport???? i often wondered thiswhen the weatherman would give a temp at the airport. with all that concrete i would think the temps would be warmer than other spots in the city.
well we are suposed to be at like minus 6 with wind chills in the -30 to -40s.
I think I found where proven winners will do all the patenting work. I am thinking of giving that a whirl to at least find out what all is envolved. I am sure the marketing costs would be deducted from any profits. I don't know why but I kinda like the idea of having my own introduction. I wonder what would happen if I cross fins with one of the newer intro's like
fire bird - http://www.waltersgardens.com/plants/view/?plant=2013
hot papaya - http://www.waltersgardens.com/plants/view/?plant=1911
any suggestions on which ones to cross or should I do the shotgun method? ( throw everyone at it and see what happens)
I do think I need to get settled down into one direction as i still have Daylily seeds tosoak and sow. well maybe tomorrow I will get them all soaking
Have a great day...
and yea I am getting cabin fever(nothing like Boogie fever though)
Dave
Dave, you sound pretty darn good for someone who has been through the storm you just had. I saw pictures of Tulsa and heard the newspaper was not printed for the first time since the beginning. Poor baby. If you are lucky you will have a day or two before the next one is coming. And, it is coming.
I am not going to make any more comments about the weather because I am thinking Spring. Today the sun is shining and the snow is trying to melt but it just is too cold. There is to be more nice weather tomorrow and then Sat. more snow/freezing rain.
Time to get back to work. See you all later. Have a nice day. JB
Yeah, did you see that car that went into the river near Tulsa, trapping 8 people? I never heard if they got the last 2 out??
Those are both gorgeous Dave. Either one would be kinda neat, but think I would be tempted to do both.
Well, I haven't gotten into cabin fever or the JB funk yet. Knock on wood. Must be the vitamin D3. LOL Jab, jab
Jen, when you get my age, you will understand. I have been much better lately and I think it is because I have not been on here listening to you giving me jabs. I bet you would be miserable to live with. So, I am not going to come live with you.
I have changed Cardiologists! That was my biggest problem. I did not like him. I called today and just told them I wanted to see a female Cardiologist. This particular doctor had an attitude toward women that both my daughter and I felt.......not just me.....both of us and neither said a word until I mentioned it to her. She thought it was just her. I thought it was just me. We are both alike thank God. Maybe that is how they treat them in his country, but not in mine.
Now I have an appointment on March 9th with a female. That is a month after the tests Feb. 10th. I would guess there is no hurry to get the results because that is a long time to wait. Ridiculous. I guess if something is wrong they will let me know sooner than one month. Oh well, we will see. It makes you wonder if it is just for the money, or the patient.
Well Dave, rain lilies are a rock garden type of plant. Spike like leaves about 8 inches long and then a little longer flower spike with a open flower probably being 3 inches across. The multiply like Democrats and love direct Las Vegas sun and continuously bloom from April through September. They stay green year round but they are a bulb. I have no idea Lee if they would stand your freezing temperatures.
JB, if there is a problem with your tests, they usually know when they are doing them. I had two different friends that had their tests stopped and they were told to sit down because they had called an ambulance. Both had heart surgery the next day. And that was about 10 years ago, and they are both still alive. They were both male.
JB, if Jnette quit picking on you, you would think she was sick.
I went shopping today and did not buy anything. Everything is designed for the very young, very tall and very thin females. All have short sleeves. I came home feeling old but I will get over that quickly.
Katie, how can you use a propane heater in your home and not get carbon dioxide poisoning?
We froze again last night but it looks like our winter is gone for the season. Some of my cannas were sprouting and they froze back but I am sure the bulbs are OK.
I have some ponytail palms. They are suppose to be green and they are white. First year for them so I do not know what this means. I hope it means they are just mad.
OK, Linda, how did you do that on your computer? We need a photo of your footsies. Just take your camera and point at your feet and push the button.....
Later, I am laughing so hard it is to hard to type any more. Only one person on here is going to know why I am laughing so hard......∆∆∆˚˚˚˚∆∆∆ Sharon
JB, you sweetheart, I LMAO. I love you and you can come live with me anytime and I won't bite. Promise.
I am so glad you changed cardiologists. Isn't it strange that these AH even have any patients? Yes, I am sure it is nothing serious or they would not have your appointment a month away.
You mean there are 2 of you??? LOL, bet your daughter doesn't snarl, bite, and b****. If she did the animals would not like her. They would not put up with that for a minute.
I think I know your problem. You are only having one glass of wine at night aren't you? You are suppose to have 2. Aren't you?
Sharon, that is why they do so well in the sun.
Now I am going to get serious with you Sharon, and tell you that you are exactly right. I am sure that it is twice as bad in a place like LV that they gear all clothes towards the young, slender, and beautiful. There is no room on this earth for old people such as us. They think!! But, we are going to rise up and take over the world. So they better watch out 'cause we got JB on our side.
Are there any of us who aren't freezing. We're in the 40's for the third day. At least there is less wind today. I do not expect any sympathy.
I can use the propane heater because I always have a door open for the dogs and my living room/kitchen has lots of drafts. My sewing room, where I slept last night, is smaller and less drafty. There is still a door open for the dogs. I turned the heater off before I sent to bed. The dour dags all wanted to be in the twin-sized bed with me. It was crawded but warmer than the living room. It's the first time in six years that I slept iin the sewing room during the winter.
Too make this story short - the other day I waved to neighbor Dana as she passed by. She waved back then asked if she and her friend could come see my garden. I said yes; she went to put her two little dogs in. She and her friend came over, I opened the gate, my dogs pushed out an attaked her little dog Amigo. Dana had not shut her gate. We got my dogs off her dog but Amiga was hurt bad. Right after it happened Dana ang I agreed that we had both been at fault and it was a no-blame situation. Next day I emailed her that I would pay half of any medical bills. Got an email that Amiga was seriously traumatized, had a couple of bites that had been cleaned up and a bad hernia from being shaken, which will require surgery if she survives. Later, as Dana, Tom and their friends were leaving at the same time I was I went over to the car and talked to Dana. The accident is now all my fault; Tom had a few nasty remarks to add. That may have been the day that I took to my bed. Ameiga is a great little dog and I'm better friends with her at this time than with Dana and Tom. Even if I didn't know her I'd be upset. Dana had some good suggestions for what I should do and I did a lot of saying, "Yes, you're right." Her dog is hurt, not a time to disagree with her. I sense Tom's heavy hand in all the blame. Tom suggested I should have all the dogs on leases which got a laugh out of Dana - the only light moment of the conversation.
The upshot of all this is that we will clearly not be friends of any sort which is just as well. I suspect that Dana is not as happy in her marriage as she would like to pretend but that, like anything else to do with them, is not my concern. Like many Americans who come to Mexico they think the Mexican people should all be grateful to have them here. Not an atitude that endears them to the locals.
I did a little straightening and prep work in the sewing room. I slept well. I'm still to fuzzy to respond much to what everyone else has said but I am paying attention. JB, good for you for changing doctor's. I did the same thing at Kaiser when I saw someone I really liked in an urgent care situation. Since then other staff people keep whispering to me that he is their best doctor.
I have about three more days worth of antibiotics. Ear is much better.
I want to say that I hate the situation with my neighbors. I hate it. I want to get along with people. I don't care if we're not best friends but I hate hostilities. I grew up with them; they have been endless in my family of origin and a situation like seems bounces me back into a lot of old feelings. Tom's insistance that it's all my fault is just like the old crap from my family. I hate it. And I just want to cry. It's so f********g unnecessary. Nobody wins, though Tom may think so. Everybody loses .
Hugs all around, katie
And that is a FORCE to reckon with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry Katie, we cross posted. The force I am refering to is JB of course.
I am so sorry for the little dog, but I don't understand people blaming you for it, sounds like it is more their fault for not taking care of the job of the gate. I think you did the right thing by offering to pay 1/2 and that is what I would do, but I wouldn't go any further. Poor little baby, hope she gets all better, for your sake and hers.
Lee
Thank you, Lee. That's just how I feel.
kb
Good response Lee. Stay away from them Katie. If they send you a bill, ask to see the total from the vet just to make sure they aren't sticking you with the whole thing.
Then ask Tom to co-sign for a loan to pay the bill. LOL Sorry just trying to be funny.
Well now I am in a pickle. The car is in the repair shop and hopefully will be done today. However, the car we borrowed from my sister won't make it up the driveway to the house because of the ice. Bob had to leave it at the bottom of the driveway and creep up to the house. He said it was so slick he almost didn't make it.
So, now how do I get down there to go with him to pick up the car when it is done? I have to drive it back. He said he is going to have to use a shovel to walk with and take little tiny steps all the way down. I told you my driveway is about 300 feet long, on a hill with 2 sharp curves. Will see if I can find a picture I took a couple days ago of a portion of it.
The section between the 2 curves.
Well---what can I say---Guess I am lucky to be living in town, and on a semi-busy street, at least we can get out of the driveway, but OH Jeanette, how beautiful it is if you don't have to go anywhere.
Linda, how are the footsies doing, I hope the pain is managable for you. Sit back and enjoy the attention, it will be over sooner than you think. And...are you even supposed to "hobble" on them. I think NOT!!!!
Katie, I agree with Jeanette, make sure you see the bill from the vet. Those type of people will not be honest, in fact, I would talk to the vet directly, and not take their word for anything. I just hope the little dog will get better quickly.
Well, must go get groceries, don't need them as such, but the next few days are supposed to be cold again in the minus range, so don't want to have to go out.
Yea, I know, I am a pansy. There I mentioned a flower, so I am legit!!!!!
Lee
Relax people, I am back from town. I feel great. The Chiropractor fixed my stiff back and I just ate a smoked turkey sub (1/2 not a whole) with hot peppers, lettuce, tomato, pepper jack cheese, mayo.............drank half a coke and had some pickles. BURP! HICK!
Geeze I feel really sorry for that little dog. That is a lesson well learned by all. Let's hope the little guy survives. I had one of my schnauzers attacked by a neighbors yellow lab one day when my son was young and walking him. He chewed the heck out of that dog and I was livid because the wife had the dog on a leash and the dog would always just drag her after him. They never trained that stupid dog and he did not know what the word NO meant. So, my little guy was hurt big time and my son has been afraid of dogs ever since. Anyhow, they paid the vet bill. There was no question who was at fault since it was out on a public street , no property was being protected, the dog was just that way and she continued to walk it knowing she could not control it.
It will depend on how much your relationship has gone south, but I think you are being fair since you both admit you were at fault. No more discussion with them.
Just wait until they approach you regarding paying the bill and then, do as the girls say,
call the vet, verify the amount, pay half and get a receipt. Yes....get a receipt and that will serve legally as a release in the event they come back and say their dog has a permanent injury that will need to be taken care of. Unfortunately these days you can not trust some people when it comes to money.
Now, the weather, If I lived on a hill with all that snow, I would own a snowmobile. There ain't no way I would live in a place like that EVER. ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?
Maybe there is a really good reason for you living there, but I could ever find a reason that would warrant putting up with all that snow. Does that happen often? Or, has this winter been one of a kind? Anyhow, your husband should get some of those shoe thingys you put on your shoes to walk on ice. Or snowshoes....that's it. Snowshoes. Send for them now. But, where is the mailbox............at the bottom of the hill? Hmmmmmm.
I think I will just goof around today, I am tired. I worked hard all week so my body would not mind not walking, it didn't work. I just got more tired. LOL.
I am starting to get emails from customers asking about my starter plants and when they will be available. Makes me feel good, except, I am hoping they will survive the rest of this winter. They are beginning to look crappy because of the lack of sunshine.
Better stop now. This is getting too long. Lots of love from New Jersey, the home of the brave and crazy. JB
LOL, JB you are sounding much better. Wait until you see the boogie woogie I sent you. Then I want to hear from you.
Bob had those tracks on his shoes when he fell and sprained his arm. He has snowshoes but they are not the aluminum (light) ones. Besides, the mailbox is in town 15 miles away.
Until we get the vehicle we are pretty much isolated. At least I hope it can make it up the driveway when we get it. If not, don't know.
Your sub sounds good JB. Bob made some twice cooked baked potatoes last night with a couple of steaks and it all was good but especially the potatoes. So, we are going to have the extras tonight with roasted chicken breast and salad. Sorry, I have to have the skin on the chicken breast. I know it is not the "in" thing to do but I will not eat dry chicken.
My sister is chomping at the bit to buy seeds and for the life of me I cannot get interested in them at all with all of this snow out here. I can see where you guys with greenhouses or nice weather could do it, but not here.
JB, I think Witness Protection. That would be a great hill to sled on if you could control the sled. Someone our age would just break something.
We are going to be 70 degrees tomorrow. I will be in the garden dancing around all my damaged ground cover. My fault. I grow dichondra and it is very sensitive but also so beautiful. It will come back but right now it is very unhappy. And my Australian violet is also unhappy along with the baby tears. That is what you get when you push climate zones.
Dawn, how has your weather been? Are you still trying to move? Maybe now is the time to look at their weather. Phoenix and Tucson also got hit big time with freezing temperatures and high winds.
Katie, that is a no win situation. Our first female schnauzer was off the leash and attached a very large dog on a leash. Our dog lost the fight and my husband was very mad at the owner. I told him neither the owner or the dog was at fault. When a dog is hurt it is always the other dogs fault, in the mind of the owner of the hurt dog. I would just stay in my own zone and have a great time. You can think yourself into happiness and not even see those poisonous neighbors.
I am going to get off of here and get to work. Finally going to make pasta sauce and work in the garage garden
Poor Dallas. All the people that were having booths outside the Cowboys field will probably not even set up their booths. And flights cannot get into Dallas.
Have a great, safe day. Sharon.
I grew the dichondra in a hanging basket one year Sharon. The silver. It is pretty. Are you saying it is not for your zone?
Yes Dawn, are you still thinking of moving? Have you found anything?
Dave, I know you asked me about the brugs the other day and I did not answer. I think the main thing you are asking for trouble in that situation might be aphids. With the warmth and light like that. Once you can get them on a regular schedule of light and dark I would then proceed with the fertilizer once a week. And water, water. If they are growing and trying to bloom they need both.
Hey Wing Nut, I mean Jen, can you grow Lavender in containers? One of my customers is looking for Lavender for her daughter. Anyone sell it, or know where I can tell her to buy it?
I am going to relax. I lost a file on my computer. It is there and I have spent two hours trying to find it and I can not. I am so annoyed. But, I will keep trying until I do. JB
JB I have some munstead lavender plugs coming in and I amlso have seeds going so I should have some ready this spring maybe mid to late may.
wejust got 3.5" and more in 2 days and then another storm after that ... so far its 17.5" and its not going to get up above freezing so we will be piled on... its tough when your town is not used to the weather or prepared for the volume.
oh well live and learn. its like the storm formed over tulsa and moved on after a day or so.....
my seeds are sprouting. miscanthus, pampas grass . I will look again tomorrow to see who all is sprouted..... and to think i have URC coming in on monday.... luckily I have the room to plant them in plug trays.
well more tomorrow
Dave
What do you mean by containers Jitterbug, I mean JB, and what kind of Lavender? There are a lot of different kinds, the Munstead probably being the most common. My sister grows a lot of that in her borders but it gets like 18 to 24 inches tall, probably wouldn't in containers. I don't know why you can't grow it in containers. Not like 10 - 14" basket containers. More like box containers or the long ones. I don't know how deep they would need to be.
There is a lavender farm across the river from us. They used to make teas, soaps, and all kinds of things and started a Lavender festival and then it got to be too much work so they bailed out and I think others then took over but I have never gone to it. They take a whole weekend.
Yes JB, this is snow country. This might be a little more than normal, but I doubt it. I do not want to live where I am sitting on top of my neighbor. Now that I am older I would like to move but still do not want the closeness of the city. I don't think I am anti-social, but I have always worked so have not visited a lot with my neighbors. Don't think I would like that now that I am home all the time.
Today no I am feeling a bit content with the weather here in my ugly town.
My husband keeps saying how bad he does not want to work in a cold place since at the moment he works outside. Unless he goes company and can work inside much more, I don't think he is in the biting mood on the move to Oklahoma since this type of thing is happening now. UHG! I don't know.
We broke record lows for the day, last night was 15 and the day was about 62 and sunny. Tomorrow is supposed to be really warm and my dad and I are going to Ventura. Next week is supposed to be warm again.
I head Tucicany Phil (Whatever his name is) did not see his shaddow.
More Winter, Yeah! as Dave said NOT.
We're in the mid-40's this morning. I had touble sleeping last night and my left knee is very painful this morning.
The good news is that I have not heard from my neighbors so I'm guessing that Amiga is still hanging in. Don't know nothing.
Will go back to my sewing room and try to stay warm. So far no freezes and I'm grateful for that.
Stay wamr and safe everyone. I'll be back later.
warm hugs, katie
Phil did not see his shadow, and it is a good thing he did not, or I would have shot him. I swear, he was skating on thin ice this year. I was ready to buy a ticket to Pittsburgh and take him out had he seen it. I believe in it.
Dave, how can this woman get in touch with you regarding your lavender? I will refer you and she can talk to you directly with her questions.
I can not imagine how nice it must feel to see sprouts coming out of the seeds. I need something like that. I need sunshine. It is cloudy, cold and raining here today. I got soaked and near fell going to feed the cats this morning. It is a cold rain. I am so careful walking because I do not need any more aches or pains, but the rain freezes as it comes down and then when it is o.k. in some spots it is not in other. I did not fall, thatis the main thing.
How are all of you surviving. Another weekend and I am working on the computer and paying more bills. Will get back to you all later. Hugs. JB
I'm melting---I'm melting finally. Snow is going away but packing down and freezing at night. Which is worse..you ask..Well don't rightly know. One as bad as another I think. At least we can get out in the fresh air during the day, for a little while. Just don't venture beyond the sidewalks, or you can slip quite easily. I am with the rest of you, Please let this be the last of it.....weather man says different tho. Guess will wait and see.
I am having computer problems so may be intermitent for a while. It keeps jumping time back to 2004. Maybe it is trying to tell me something???
Later, Lee
Hi Everyone!,
my son just called me from the greenhouse ( he listens to headbanger music out there) to tell me that my april shower orchid cactus is blooming! It had buds last week when I was watering and took my fall. I have waited at least 3 years to see it bloom and I may have to scoot across the yard on my butt if I want to see it myself. He said he would take a picture of it but it is just begining to open. I don't know if they are like the epi's that bloom only at night and keep opening as the evening wares on. Anyway, I am chomping at the bit to get out there.
Lee, I am happy your snow is beginning to melt. It is almost 60 here but it has rained buckets for 3 days. I love the rain though so I will not complain.
JB, I am glad you didn't fall. I don't know if this bunch could handle you and me both out of commission!
Katie, I am so sorry to hear about the accident with the dogs. I know the difficulties you have had with your neighbors have made life miserable, and add pets into the mix and it can get even worse. I will pray that things get better for you real soon!
Sharon, No way am I taking a picture of my feet! LOL I don't want any reminders of this time in my life! i would just as soon forget it ever happened and pretend life is normal, but somehow when I stand up I get a very rude awakening!
Dave, how nice to see sprouts! I am a little jealous! it is my own fault though, I haven't started anything yet. My plan was to get everything set up and going this week but that isn't happening.
If my son wants money to go out this weekend, maybe I can get him to fill my trays with soil and I can start things indoors. ( I can hear whining now from both the guys about me bring them in the house). I figure that is why God made brooms right?
Jnette, I am with you, I don't like to live in a town. When we bought our property here, our year round population was only 450. That was 20 years ago and now, it is unreal. I think about moving sometimes, but I would miss the ocean and I don't really like the inland areas close by.
Where is Evelyn these days? I haven't seen her posting so I am just trying to check on everyone.
Hope you are all warm and dry and happy,
Sea ya
Linda
Hi - I'm back. Things are a lbit better. I had a brief talk with Dana today. Amiga the dog is hanging in, still not eating but drinking and peeing. Dana found three more puncture wounds in her throat. She is going in Tuesday for the hernia surgery. I gave Dana some of the brown rice and chicken I cook for my dogs to see if that appeals to Amiga. I think that as long as Tom is not involved Dana and I can get along OK. Tom is just a lot like my father. He spouts pontifically and the less he knows the more he blusters. He also thinks I'm dumb and, I think, threatening, though he would never admit it. My independent lifestyle threatens some people.
Tony and I continue to get along well. He put up a second gate this week. We had it before, then took it down cause Tom and I were going to do some work together. It's now up and if Tom wants to do the work we talked about he can come to me and ask as it involves my land and a convience to him. The second gate is helpful as it really helps to keep my dogs inside my fence.
I've been working on the first of my flannel nightgowns. And watching movies and Richard Pryor. Between the long lasting ear infection and the dog problem I still tire easily and am in bed early though sometimes, like lst night, I have trouble sleeping.
Nothing major going on. All the strong winds blew many of my little adenium plants into a heap on the plant room floor. Means most of them lost their labels but I'm not real good on labeling anyway so it's no big deal.
It warmed up nicely today but it's cooling off again so I'll head back to the sewing room and see what more I can get done on the nightgown.
Might order some seeds tomorrow if my brain is less fuzzy.
hugs, katie
I got out my seeds to see what kind of coleus seeds I had left because my sister kept nagging about it. She was getting ready to order some and I guess she thought I might order some others and trade. I only had some I wanted and didn't want any more. But, you would think just looking at the seeds would get me anxious to work with them, but I put them away. Wasn't interested at all.
What was I going to do, plant them in the snow? No, I am not going to do any wintersowing. I ended out throwing some echies away last year 'cause I didn't feel like planting any more.
I did get a catalog from Mischels Greenhouses, and she has lovely plants. But she sends them out by zones of course, but I had the impression that they cut mine way back to get them in the box to mail. In other words, they don't stagger the planting so by the time it was time to send zone 5 they were too big for the box. So they got whacked off. They did come out of it, and were very nice plants after a while.
By the time I edited my order I got it down to almost $60. Funny, hers was the only one that could get me interested in plants. It's kind of nice tho because I think this year I am actually going to hold my seed planting down to what I really can use.
I did send money for, and order, 2 Japanese Maple trees, one for my daughter and the other for myself. I sure hope the one I got last year survived this winter.
Did I say I couldn't get interested in gardening? Well, that is the truth, this stuff is nothing compared to a normal year for me.
Quit laughing JB. I am going to send you an order for another Aimee and by gosh it better get sent too. I'm not like those other people to ask when you are going to be posting on Marketplace, ebay, etc. I am going to just send the order and money.
I see some of my red Poppy seedlings are appearing in my yogurt cups. I saw some of the Petunias growing in the bags sprouted too. Our weather is so nutty. I am not sure if they are needing water or if they are draining well so I need to check them out tomorrow. I had a plant that survived the whole winter from a see I planted last year. I watered it one night and it froze. It is gone now. Either it died or a rabbit died it for me. grrr! Luckily I have a few others that I had sunk the yogurt cups in 2 gallon pots and somewhat covered them with some leaves. As of a week or two ago, they were fine. I think it is Centranthus Ruber. Never had that before if they make it. I will have to find a good spot for them or need to traplant them where bunnies won't get them.
So are you guys all digging out of the snow?
I am sorry for all of you having dog medical issues because the sadness is so deep when that becomes fatal for them. It is scary and also expensive. Sometimes you weigh out the cost and what is left of their lives and the decision to Euthanise is horribly painful. My heart goes out to you.
Anyone have a favorite water seal for exterior wood?
Well, I cleaned out boxes today because it was not warm enough and we had howling winds. We are to warm up Sunday thru Wednesday and then dip again. I have two workers coming over next week to dig up the Cannas. It was tough when I was working, but saving all that money and never going on vacation has paid off in retirement. AND, I would not change a thing....
Love you all, Sharon.
I surprised myself by finishing the first nightgown and starting on some scrap squares for a quilt. I am now in my new warm nightgown and ready for bed.
Night all.
hugs, katie
