Thanks, folks....am feeling somewhat better, although I still can't eat, but that's not a bad thing! Rained all day, some icing on the trees....don't know about the roads....

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Robindog, Poor you, horrible to be ill and have horrible weather at the same time. Feel better soon. Patti

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

We had some go through, but stopped now. Patti

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

hope you feel better marilyn

nice overcast day today - went xcountry and had to make my own trail through the snow we had - think i dropped 10 lbs of water weight - i'll get out early tomorrow before it gets warm - just drizzle here so far.

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

Freezing rain here. Oh joy.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Snowing hard and 30 @ the moment....not sure how much we are getting. One forecaster said 6 - 10" another said 3 - 6" w/a 1/4" of ice.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Fog and 48 degrees. weird weather. Patti

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Got up to 46° with heavy fog, visibility less than 100'. Then the winds picked up to 22 mph, fog cleared out quickly, temps dropping. 39° now with a windchill of 24°.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

rain rain rained all day....very foggy when we went to church tonight.
Very windy now, temp was around 36°, sow melting...running down the gutters, sounded like the hose was on.

South Hamilton, MA

Thunder about 10:15 tonight. Seems to have passed over now. A bit of ice dam trouble causing leakage around a bay window.

Thundered around 1 am. Was sleet/rain

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

We got another 6" at least. Never heard any thunder, just snowed hard but it warmed up and stuff started sliding off the roofs. Very thankful for that...many building are collapsing from the weight.
We went down to BIL and got the ice/snow off his roof before noontime yesterday. Then we put our shovels, gloves, hats, boots, ect...in the X-terra and drove an hour and half to my brothers house and did his roof. I'm very , very sore today....my little chicken breast bone is bruised. :(

Solid sheet of ice here. The dogs were quite funny trying to get down the sidewalk to their bathroom area. Sunshine kept looking at me like it was my fault, I couldn't help laughing.

Thomaston, CT

Ice rink here as well! Temp is up to 36 now, so hopefully lots of melting taking place.....heard ominous noises out by back porch last night....didn't think it could be roof, as son has shoveled it twice.....maple branches scraping icy roof! Roof collapses so prevalent, it's the 1st thing I thought of....thanks for the well wishes everyone, am feeling a little bit stronger today! Dem....what kind of dogs? Pixie, you are too good! Please take care of YOU!

South Hamilton, MA

37° & sunny Some melt going on, but the snow on the driveway has turned to ice. DH was able to get the car out as it is parked near the end of the driveway. Squirrel still has access to the feeder. he will as long as the snowpack is high enough for him to make the jump.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

40° here, wind from the NW at 13 mph, windchill is 34°. Humidity is down to 57% and it's clear skies above on this beautiful Sunday morning!

Winds were pretty strong overnight as the clouds cleared out, still a little blustery, but at least we have sunny skies today. At our high now of 40°, expecting partly cloudy skies later today and tonight with an overnight low of 22°. Looks like another little storm system heading our way for tomorrow night.

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

Good afternoon, everyone.

Currently 25 degrees in WNY heading for 29. Partly sunny skies and no precipitation right now.

From what I understand yesterday we had lots of wind, some snow and icing. I started with another bout with a stomach virus Friday night and slept almost all day yesterday - in between bathroom trips. Ugghh. Feeling more human today.

Have a blessed and super Sunday, folks.

Thomaston, CT

Same to you, Dave! Just recovering from flu, I know exactly how you feel.....take care!

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Fun in the snow. This was taken mid tumble. How do you like my new camera, Victor?

Nice shot, Polly! Which one did you get??

Nice day here. Sunny and 43.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Polly, oh to be young again.

I hate to tell you all, but we have been out all day pruning and playing as it is a gorgeous day here. It got up to around 45 and very little wind under a bright blue sky. I only had a sweater on. Our first burn pile is growing huge already. Patti

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Beautiful day today! Wooohooo.
41 sunny and it felt great to get out for a while! Come on spring!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Beautiful day here too. Took the dogs to the park, but there is still too much ice to safely maneuver.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

It is gorgeous out!!! 43° and sunny

It was SUPER windy last night

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

polly is that you :) nice picture of the gd!

got out early to ski before the melting - had to scrape the ice off the diveway in front of the garage before the cold front hits in the next couple days - nice day was out with just a long sleeve shirt.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Victor, the one you recommended, the Canon IS 90. So far, I just love it. Thank you again.

That's OK, Patti, if we're going to have snow, I would just as soon have a lot of it.

Thanks Bill. It was a beautiful day out.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You're welcome! Glad you like it. Been since replaced by the 95.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

I saw that, but if I remember correctly the 95 didn't have something the 90 did that I wanted.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

If I were getting one today, it would probably be either the 95 or the Nikon Coolpix P7000.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

The reason you recommended that one was for the white balance. The color distinction between the blues and purples, which is what I needed is fantastic. Absolutely no correction needed with what I've tried so far. Before when I was taking pictures of the irises for the website I had to adjust the color. I doubt I will need to now. I love the functions on the control ring. My old camera was so outdated.

Here's a picture of my roadway.

Great!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

So sorry to hear you are so sick, Marilyn! Feel better soon!

This shot is for those of you who came to our RU at the farm. Remember the BBQ pit and outdoor fireplace we gathered around? Well, this is IT!!!! The guy who keeps an eye out on the farm for us just sent us some photos of the snow there today. The only thing you can see of the fireplace is the mantel!

A/C is back on here.

Ouch, a lot of snow on that roof, Louise. we've had ours shoveled off once, and looking like it might be needing it again. Odd winter this year.
