What garden? I can't see anything green or even black except for the upper most parts of some trees. Sigh.

19° and sunny. We've got a storm coming in. The tv weather guy says tues 10pm to wed 10 am will be the worst of it. Hope he's right.

I enjoy snow but not the amount we have had and are going to have. A friend helped DH clear the mailbox. It swings on a gate so can be swung away from snowplows, but that is difficult this winter as the plow roll get shoved underneath & there obviously was no room.

Heard this storm will affect over 100 million Americans! Yikes.

I am so P.O.'d at the weatherman! he didn't give us def. totals....1 - 3" tomorrow then between 12 - 20" on Wed.! Hello!!! There's alot of leed-way there!!!!!!!

It was 4 when I went to work this morning, but 27 in the afternoon.....I am in the 5-10" range before it turns to an icy mix......ugh!

I hate snow. I hate ice. I hate winter weather. Why have we not moved south yet? I hate bugs more.

Everything is so pretty and nice when it's covered with snow, why cant we have snow year round! Wheee!

Our latest forecast...whatever it's going to do, (snow, freezing rain) going to start during the night and last thru Thursday..YIKES

the salt truck woke me up this morning ... the ground is covered with sleet.. 20 now going to 30 our alert is on until 6 PM tomorrow .. here is what my alert email said for my area "BEST ESTIMATE IS 4 TO 10 INCHES OF SNOW & SLEET WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF SUSSEX COUNTY NJ & THE POCONOS."... can't get close here either

It's only 3 degree's here....can't believe it will snow soon. Seems im looking at 15" or so, I hope they are wrong again.

14 here but feels like 3 and snowing, only did 1/2 mile again today...

cold here and our oil burner is out - waiting for oil comp - looking forward to the snow - will be working from home the next two days - supposed to be close to 20"!!

28° here, wind from the NE at 8 mph, windchill is 18°. Our humidity is up to 74% and we have light sleet and rain falling at the moment.

Wintry mix here today with possible accumulations of 3-5". Intensity of the storm expected to peak overnight, (mostly rain, snow & sleet here). Roads are slushy, speeds have been reduced. Our high for today predicted at 31°.

Here we have some icing and maybe more if temps fall. Snow drops bloomed two weeks ago. But...who knows what the rest of winter will bring

I have the morning news on the TV and the anchor just said "It's big, it's wicked and it's coming our way". That is referring to the expected "storm of the century" that should hit our area later today and overnight. Expected snow totals will average 1 foot and there will also be ice. I can't wait.

Kids are home. We have not gotten much snow so far, but round two will be worse. Ice and snow.

22 and overcast. No precip for now.

NWS canceled our winter storm warning, but replaced it with an ice storm warning. Wonderful.

Diddley squat here. a little dusting and freezing rain, hubby said roads aren't bad, he stayed home to do paperwork though after dopping my son at school, just went back out to look at a job and hopefully get back in time to pick my son up.

Talked to my sis in CO this morn...everyone was told there to stay indoors, they are at -31 windchill and reg temp -19 she's been there 13yrs and said that has never happened before, last week they had 60°

Nice map, Jen. We got some snow overnight. The ice is coming later. Currently the snow is blowing around. Got stuck trying to get into my driveway after work. Had to get DS up to help me dig out and then get into the driveway. Silly snowplow blocked my driveway!
