Crazy weather, sleeting like CRAZY and WINDY then about 2hrs ago saw a flash and thunder was rumbling.
Just switched over to snow

they said thundersnow was possible tonight... funny you posted that article Victor... I was talking with the mayor of Dover, NJ today.. and he told me Bergen county was completely out of road salt... and claiming they didn't have the money to buy more.. he said he doesn't care how much in the red they would have to go... to keep his residents safe... he is not the cookie cutter mayor.. I think I like him!!!... and that says a lot

it was a crummy day at work today.. just enough snow to make it hard to get around.. but we are getting hammered again tonight.. work actually let us go at 3 today.. I was shocked... if there isn't a closing tomorrow I will use a day.. not worth it

It has been snowing all day, seems like it just changed over to rain. It was nice enough to take a long walk this afternoon.

It is wind, sleet, snow out right now. I let the dog out the back door and almost fell on my keister. I only put one foot out the door!

can't see my front steps already.... shoveled a spot for the dogs on the deck... about 20 mins ago... can't even tell I did now.. but they are still saying 8 - 12

very good, rosymom. I can hear the wind here NE of Boston & we are in the 6-10" range. Not very happy. There has been a light dusting so far.

I liked it, I've been playing with the crop and removed the violet tint etc etc.., It's really good, I like it.

Went to bed an hour ago, couldn't sleep with the wind howling. Just got up and looked outside. OMG..It is snowing wicked hard. Must have accumulated a few inches in the past hour. We have a delayed opening at work tomorrow. Hope they change it to 'just stay home'

Patti, probably went to bed so I'll answer (if you don't mind) if you have a well the well pump runs on electricity and if the power goes out you'll have no water(unless you have a generator)

works automated system called at 1:30AM to tell me we have a 2 hour delay... LOL.. what a joke!!! we have at least a foot .. I see the news bumped us up to 12 - 18 since last night... guess they were wrong on the totals

I've got an inch or two already but it's very fine snow. They are saying maybe 3" now all toll, like I said...this just grazed us thank goodness!

We got 17'', more in some spots with the drifts. It took Atticus 4 tries to get to a spot through the night!
