South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Got about an inch. Now we're back to heavier snow tomorrow! In other words, they have no idea. So what else is new?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Sun is currently out here, was out there without a jacket playing with the dog and wasn't even cold

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

- now the sun is out, - very weird.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Snow didn't really stick...no complaints. No sun though. DH couldn't get out to the boat because of the ice. Maybe tomorrow before we get a nor'easter with snow. Snowdrops are almost open. Patti

Our "dusting to an inch" turned out to be 3" and it's still only 9 degree's. I can deal with snow, but I HATE this artic cold!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Sun is out

Sorry Celeste

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Have to wear a spacesuit in that kind of cold, I think you guys up there set a record for windchill or something at one time, they had a commercial once that mentioned something like that..

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Never saw the sun today.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

The coming storm.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

If the storm stays on the same track, it will just barely clip me. Maybe 4" but more snow on Sunday.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Seems every five days there is another.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

my commute was terribly slow this morning.. even though there was only an inch.. got a feeling I might be home again on Thursday. saying 6 - 8 starting tomorrow night.. not dealing with it again.. I do too much driving

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

My wife too. She travels 35 miles to work and then most of the patients who live minutes away canceled!

Thomaston, CT

It looks like we are getting the 6-12....yippee. Just talked to my son....it warmed up enough so that he & the girls did some night skiing....oh, to be young again!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

- What are you waiting for, go out there and join 'em! Doing young things keeps you young, in heart & mind! ☺

Presently 30° here with a wind from the Northeast at 8 mph, giving us a windchill of 23°. The humidity is 78% and it's totally cloudy outside.

- sounds like a nasty storm with lots of heavy snow to me.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

24 with some sleet. Fun starts later today. Between 1 and 30 inches.

Thomaston, CT

I'd love to stay young, WC, but a broken hip put me off skis! Last night, our part of the state was in the 5" range.....have not listened today, because, frankly, I'm just sick of the hype!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Snowing all morning, no school delay or announcement of closing early....what the heck????

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Ouch! Sorry to hear that!

Been snowing for 2hrs now, got about an inch so far. Normal school day down here too, same amount of commuters heading into the city this am also. - Rush hour is going to be a mess.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Same here, Jen. Wondering when I'll hear.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

snow is not supposed to start here until midnight - might be sooner based on your reports south of here. get to use the new snowblower - hoping to get wacked with snow!!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Sleet/rain just started. DH finally got out to the work boat and it is ready for the next pile of snow, not that we have had much like the rest of you.

Wind from the ENE at 9 MPH

I was very surprised when I turned on the news at noon, to find it was snowing heavily in CT everywhere except Litchfield County.....finally lucked out. However, a few big, fat flakes are falling now, & schools dismissed early. Bill, I hope your part of NE gets whacked a whole lot more than mine!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Sleet turned to rain...it is currently pouring and getting real windy.
Got about 4" of snow
Supposed to switch back to snow for about 10"

Principal sent an e-mail that for safety reasons if you wanted to pick up your kids early you could but not having a formal early dismissal

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Snowing moderately. Kids are home. So is my wife.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Heavy snow all morning and a short stint of freezing rain...the worst is yet to come.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Score is now; snow 4 inches, rain 0.
Stopped snowing here at half-time for now, but another 3-6" predicted when part 2 of the storm hits later tonight.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Heavy here now.
