I got up at 4:30 and the temp was 32* Its nearly seven and the temp is 28* with a winter advisory.Snow sleet you gotta love January.

33 and raining now, all that snow is not melting...it's just getting saturated and heavy. Had to shovel off the deck so the dogs could get out.....all that snow slid off the roof and blocked the patio door!

I work in homecare but no longer do the home visits, but I still feel for all our staff that are out driving in this crap, hopefully it won't get too bad

Same experience here yesterday.
Heavy snow just packed down where I walked to fill the bird beeders.
It was like walking on ice when I tried to get back.
Luckily I had a prop with me so nothing bad happened.
I will not go out today.
SIL comes home in a few days. Really miss him and his endurance to the woodpip;e to keep the fireplace stocked.

I know we are burning though wood like crazy this year.. used up 1/2 of our stock already... not too good

Supposed to clear up as the day progresses, today's high expected at 42°, but as the clouds clear out we'll be heading to 23° tonight.
- Almost half the snow has melted, (which still leaves a lot of snow..). Not worried though, supposed to get some more fresh snow Thursday night into Friday, - along with colder temps.

Had a 90 min. delay today for school, but my road was still icy.....had to brake for the school bus, & was hoping I could! At lunch, when I went home to let the dogs out, it was raining & snowing heavily.....by 3:00 everything stopped, the sun came out, & the roads were great......

It's 27 and it started snowing again around 2 pm and it's still snowing :( We might see a couple of inces, nothing major, it's just everything that WAS wet is now frozen. It's really dangerous out there.

In the 30s, but drizzle & slippery underfoot on the driveway. Stop & Shop parking lot was down to pavement.

It's 16 and not snowing at the moment, snow showers this morning, clearing for a few hours. More snow showers tonight developing into steadier snow fall which will last all day tomorrow. So far the storm is on the right track so we won't get hit to bad....maybe 6" more. If it shifts we could be looking at alot more :(

Glad your Stop & Shop parking lot was bare, Iris.....if I wasn't holding onto the car door handle with a death grip, I would have been under the car parked next to me.....sheer ice in that one spot! And on Tues. my stepdaughter fell while going to work...badly scraped face & wrist pain....went for xray, & she will be in a cast for 4weeks! We are expecting from 2-6"......even 2 is too much.....getting ridiculous, there's no place to put the snow.

Was out there throwing the ball to Wall-e, water drip, drip, dripping off the deck...but in areas of the yard layer of ice over the snow so you can walk on top of it and you're about 2' taller...I always loved that as a kid.

Sidewalks & parking lots are supposed to be clear by law. Our driveway is gravel so dig my cane into the snow on it to walk. I took the cane to the parking lot just in case. Since I could walk normaly I practiced getting the rhythm. I hope your DSD heals quickly.
