It's right.....we are in an artic freeze for the next few days. I have to go out today....don't want to but have to. You should see the snow banks!! Holy cow!!! If we get 20" next week...I'm not sure where they will put it. Our driveway has 2- 12' piles already!!!

Sunny day. Nice out. My DH is out with a chainsaw to hopefully take off a big branch on a crab apple that I have been groining about for years. I think I have finally won. We will save the wood to use after it has seasoned for smoking a turkey or pig next fall, so it is a good use or the wood. The tree was looking lopsided to me and encroaching on another much more delicate one next to it that we planted at the same time in 1983. If he actually cuts the big branch off, I will post a before and after shot, but still no sound of buzzing.

He has now cut part of it off, but needs a new filter and some bar oil to finish the job as he says the chainsaw keeps stalling. Kind of like what DH has been doing for years with this HoneyDew item. But it looks great. He is off to the store, so maybe in another hour it will be a done deal. I am heading out to see what else he can chop down today. Patti

Temp is in the twenties, sun's out. Supposed to turn colder with storm on Wed. Nothing will melt in between so our driveway & mailbox is in for it.

Still pretty day out, blue sky. Tree branch is gone. I am happy and that apple wood will make something taste great when we use it as fuel in the smoker. Patti

great day for xcounry skiing and not too cold. had to take the snowblower to be repaired hoping it is done before tuesday - replaced both belts and put in a new friction wheel and it stiill won't roll.

patti i can't believe you have no snow - i will be out with the chain saw soon myself to cut up a few oaks that fell on the other side of the pond - might as well grab some hardwood while i can.

Wha, No snow here for a while, but I am sure we will get some more before April. But not like you. Sorry about your snow blower, what a pain. Hope it was just out of gas. Patti

I'm moving to Nantucket....this says it all, except for the 3' of snow not visible in the photo.....we better not have one more flake.....nowhere to put it......Pixie, I loved the sign....when Garret was small & we would visit his big brother in Maine, everything for him was "Wicked".....the neighbors would laugh!
