It’s not uncommon to let Threads run out to 300 + poste with most people on broadband.
There is no rule saying you need to stop at 135 posts.
I am still on dial up and I just opened : http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/682809/
And it took no time at all to see all the thumbnail pics.
I personally want to see all My pictures in one place and not have people running all over the place looking for them.
Three years ago it would take 2 to 4 minutes to open a thread with over 100 posts.
This is 2011 after all.
What do you think Resin, I have always got such good replies from you.

Ginger, We do this because some people have very old slow computers or bad internet service. We try to be considerate to all our members here.

If memory serves me correctly it was Resin who first had the idea.
