Dreadful bird pics, vol. 18

I think this was a try out to lift off, but the snow was too deep.

Oh that first was is baaad!! But now that second one, gee you just feel sorry the little thing!

Yup, just looking at all that snow, poor baby!

Here is my share, returning home from the birding trip today to find this hawk;

I was zooming around saw a blue blurr,shot off 2 ,its a bluebird ..aww

lily do you live on water ? was this your Bird watching trip ? Thanks I was amazed that I got a few good shots I was using digital zoom,I was shocked they turned out so well,and i was shooting though a window !!!

Tamara, I'm fortunate to be. It isn't nice nor kind with the Northern wind during the winter months though. Awww that last shot of the Redbellied is beautiful to me.

I was thinking you had to be on water,so many ducks.I love them. I got a few more shots of the RB today will have to post later

Mrs_Ed yes it is a bit steep,17 steps down to the house,or 75 feet to the door from the top.This might give you more of an idea how the house sits.That didnt help at all = {

I was at the osprey nest this afternoon and a flock of Corellas flew past. I had the 500mm lens on the tripod and didn't have time to line them up and get them in the viewfinder before they vanished behind the trees, so I just swung the camera in their general direction and clicked away blindly. This was the best of them.

its nice to know you shoot blindly Also !!!!! I got a shot of an Eastern Bluebird that way all I saw was a blue blurr,fired off 2 shots ..LOL i guess I should post it !!! I thought it was not a good shot ,not bad at all considering it was digital zoom through a window ..HMM ??
