Wonderful pics everyone!! I'm afraid I've not had anymore birds to my feeders since I posted last!! hhmmm.. could be it's very warm at the moment & they can get bugs that are available..we're in for a cold freeze this weekend so I hope to see some. My feeders are still full of food so that tells me they aren't around.
Huck.. don't forget that Snow Geese hang around Canada Geese as well & what you saw was probably a young Snow Goose..as they don't get their full white feathers until they are a little more mature..AND... that looks like their summer colors so this "fella" could be in between changing color! Being of the same "family" they are very easy to blend in with the Canada Geese!! hahaha

Hack, I feel it could be used at anytime...if you get a beamer make sure you try and protect it from the sun...it will magnify and may damage the flash..melt.
Edited to say...birds need to be close for best results...from my time with the flash so far.

Burd, I heard that too, about the beamer, ruining the flask. I'm gonna look for one on eBay, Amazon Adorama and B&H next year. I went to the eye doctor today and my new glasses are gonna set me back $310.00, the beamer is on the back burner for a little while.
My last one for tonight is one of my ever-present little Carolina Wrens.

Oops, sorry Burd, ya'll go to the new thread, http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1147009/
