Wow! Love them all. You folks are really rockin' today. Nanny, I love that feeder. Apparently, so does the Titmouse. Great shots all.

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

Pelle, we have the "Oregon" Juncos here and both the male and female have the brown according to my book. There's just something so different from all my other juncos. Maybe you're right this is a female or maybe it's just still an immature.

Lionhrt, great photos of all your birds.

Syndicate, your cardinal is sure pretty too.

I've been watching this particular Dark-eyed Junco. It's the only one here that has more of the gray coloring with just a touch of brown on the back.

Looks like an intergrade Slate-colored / Oregon, closer to Slate-colored.

A Common Redpoll was just reported in South Brunswick, NJ!

LOL Dave, I always feel blessed when they glide over my house. I love watching them. Great shot you got.

Good shots guys!

Stafford County, VA

So nice to have the sun out today. It gives the camera so much more to work with.

Excellent start Dave! Gosh I wish I could see some of those Waxwings! Send some over my way please!

Wonderful photos all! Hard to catch up when we are already up by 55 replies!

Hack... good one of the Brown Thrasher. Saw one on my balcony the other day... a first! But he flew away before I got a pic.

Duc... that Quail is gorgeous!

Pelle... your Juncos and Goldfinch are beautiful!

Nanny... I think those Brown Creeper are so cute! They must be busy little birds.

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7a)

I have news! Rumpus is growing a new tail! I saw him today, but could not get a pic fast enough! Hope to see him in the morning and snap one!

Here is a new visitor to our balcony!

American Tree Sparrow... pretty little guy!

Granny, your jay looks pretty on that old log.

Hack, love that Carolina Chickadee. Those Chipping Sparrows sure have pretty colors and I love the cardinals.

Glad to hear someone else is have a heck of a time capturing great images of these little cuties.

Duc, love 'em all. Those berries make a beautiful backdrop for your pictures.

Lakeview, OH

I think I might have a problem, I had a suet cake outside and this morning I went out and it was open, and of course the cake was gone. I have a feeling a Raccoon stole what was left of the cake, so I am thinking of taking it inside at night. No birds yet today, there might be a hawk somewhere. Those Chickadees are very hard to photograph, but I finally got a couple, here is one I posted before.

Teddy, you put food out, and you feed everything! Wish I had a raccoon around here! Cute chickadee.
Dave, excellent shots. Love the robin with that juicy berry and nice one of the waxwing snagging a berry.
Nanny, way to get those brown creepers. They are kind of creepy the way they disappear.
Pelle, jealous of the juncos! Nice shots!
Hack, nice job especially the thrasher, wren and kinglet shots. Love those.
lionhrt, nice nuthatch! Wish I'd see one of those.
GG, nice one of the chickadee especially -- hard for me to catch them.
VA_Wild_Rose -- love those mockingbirds. We shouldn't take them for granted.
Duc, unbelievable photos. Bald eagle is amazing. That scrub jay looked like a lizard in the thumbnail. Really shows their ancestry!

Here's a goldfinch.
