Went to see the Pirates beat the Mets in PA Sat night, skyblast with Huey Lewis and the News and a great fireworks show after the game.

What a relief especially for the older players. the Heat will win championships. they just have to grow up & realize that just plain talents will not always do it.

Sox are going so well, the Yankees are messing up, but it's a long season.

Home opener in the brand new stadium for the Rockland Boulders on Th. We're going on Friday. So far, they are horrible!

I don't really follow hockey, but glad for the Bruins fans that they won. Played field hockey when I was in school. slower game, but fun.

I'm headed down on the train first train of the day to go to the Red Sox game on Saturday afternoon game from Maine...and now the hockey parade starts from Boston Garden at 11 a.m. It's going to be one hell of a Saturday I think!

I could be totally screwed here since my returning ticket is for 6:45 p.m. (sigh) amtrak's a little stingy w/ the trains back and forth to Maine.

well time to make a hotel reservation - there is a hampton inn that is not too expensive - we always stay there the night before flying out of logan

Thanks wha. I have an invite to stay down there with friends but this guys waiting for me.
I did manage to change my reservations so I actually get down after the Bruins parade but in time to buy a 2011 Bruins Souvenir (I think a pin) at the Garden and get a bit to eat before the game! I'll take a nice long nap on 'The Downeaster' after the game and my doggie will still love me. :)

Glad that you are thinking 'pin' as TV says that championship hats are selling out.

My son's buddy stood in line for 3 1/2 hours last night to buy championship tee-shirts. I've been trying to find a pin for weeks. 8-(

So far I've heard people have had better luck at those hat shops in the malls

i do not think they expected the demand for bruins paraphernalia
might have to get a t-shirt myself - not a stanley cup shirt just a black one with a B on it.
