Just before I go to sleep at night I read The Upper Room, a spiritual guide. It was so appropriate, since it was about the power of prayer....and Pixie had better news today.
Coffee Break # 49 Happy Christmahanukwanzika!
okie dokie WC. You should get your stinky present in the mail soon.
Glad to here things are better than expected with your friend Pixie. Sending strength to your friend too FlowAjen.
Thanks D-Nut
(lol! D-Nut! ☺)
Celeste, that's good to hear Karen has made it through her second surgery. Hopefully she will recover, and here's praying for the recovery of her left side as well.
Jen, prayers also go out to your friend with the head injury.
Oh, whew, Victor, so glad my password was not in that list!!!!!!
Karen
Jen - sorry to hear about your friend. Prayers for him too. I have a good feeling about Celeste's friend, Karen. It is amazing how much improvement can be achieved with aggressive therapy. I will never doubt the power of prayer either. I have learned first hand how miracles can happen from the prayers of many. And yes, I do believe that angels come in many forms.
well it happened again... someone used my AmEx to go shopping... got a text and an email there might be a fraudulent charge to please call customer service.. it's all taken care of and a new card is on the way... glad I didn't go crazy with that one and have any pending buys online... handled pretty quick I must say
'Tis the season! (to watch your wallets!)
And those who like to spy on credit cards at the spot of purchase.
It happened to DH while we were in the city, he tried to use his card and it was declined. He called and found out. The banks seem pretty good at knowing when it's not you.
Karen has maintained a stable state for over 24 hours now, also no breathing tube anymore!!! :) Thank you sooooo very much for the prayers, like Louise said I know the power they have and the people here on DG are some of those Angels Louise was referring to. ^_^
Daylily "Christmas Is" ...
My thought to make this a sentence:
"Christmas Is.....a time for hope and miracles."
You are so right, Pixie! Glad she's off the breathing tube....that's real progress! And Louise, I, too, believe in angels in many forms, especially after what happened in the ER.
Good news, Celeste. Hopefully the progress will continue.
^_^
Best to Karen and all who love her.
VERY good news Pixie ^_^

Great! Thanks for that one.

I liked both the tree & the clydesdales.
Bionic Gloves are having a 20% off sale until 12/20. They're the gloves I use. I like them.
Cool, I just looked at the site and they have golf gloves, think they're worth it?
I'm always struggling to find something for DH.
My flyer says the golf gloves are the only ones not included in the sale. Don't know how good they are - I've only bought the garden gloves.
It's $25 for 1 glove, but it looks like it fits well, now how can I measure his hand?
$5 per finger.
I'm going to look at them at the local golf shop and compare it to a regular one. They have one for $50 too!
... should get a discount for the middle finger, at least it can speak for itself!
Praying for more miracles, Celeste and Jen.
WC, you're too funny. You have a very pretty Christmas tree!
I got home last night. Huey Lewis was on my plane. He didn't have any News. : (
Lovely, WC! I'll copy the photo, enlarge it and use it as my own. Thanks so much!
Nahh, that's no good, - you got to have your own then you can play with it every now and then!
(else a wreath or something.. you know, something nice. lol)
Have decorated live wreath: will celebrate!
WC2:
Lovely tree! Your wife might want it every Christmas now; I think it's worth the effort !!!
Think of it as a form of art that lasts 3 weeks.
Yeah, women seem sentimental about things like that.
- Guess I'll have to add another expense to the list and drop a few names from the gift list. lol!
I like the purple theme, WC....nice. Welcome home, Harper....hope your trip was happy. Debi, look at your DH's old golf glove....the size should be in there.
The site said the sizes run small, and gave measurements. I did check both his golf and handball gloves for sizes.
Yes, Deb, they do run small.
Nice tree, WC!
