I luv liver! What a busy but wonderful day you had. Yay!
4th Annual Daves Garden Christmas Craft Workshop!! pt.3
Hate to say this but I'd throw away the pan when Roger cooked liver/onions..sooo he finally gave up and enjoyed when he visited his mom..some foods make one ill..not up for liver! am sure it's delicious though..
hmmmmm greenery?? have to ponder that one...wonder what I've got hiding somewhere that I can use??? can't decide if I want to put a scarf on or not, and thinking about a way to add a mini "shelf" to hold a piece of chalk ????
want to write "better not pout" on there, for now anyways,,,was my kids favorite saying this time of year when they were little.....I have a little star shaped pin that says that, I always wear for Christmastime, also have little star shaped Santa pin...guess I could be digging them out??!!!
Should do, I have a beautiful leather poinsettia that my girlfriend gave me, always remember it AFTER Christmas..will go look for it while you look for your treasures..drats it's snowing hard!
My mom used to make liver and onions and once tried to make me eat it well it was not a pretty sight. I got ill at the dinner table and from then on I would get peanutbutter and jelly sandwich on liver nights. To this day can not stand the smell.....................
we're two of the same Laura!!! that and pigs feet with burnt gravy! Each and every time we'd visit her she'd cater to Roger and poor little old me, balogna sandwiches I'd eat, what a smell!!!
Betty I know I left it, it wouldn't fit in my suitcase, remember? It was too long. If it had fit I would have brought it home.
Debbie I think the buttons are adorable!!!
Thunder that's cute!! I got the hats and took a picture of it all, now I can't find my camera! I think it grew legs and walked off!
Mittsy Happy Belated Birthday! Glad you had a good one!!
I'm not up for liver either, I used to eat dinner at my friends house when mom wanted liver and onions for dinner. Thank Goodness Dave doesn't like it either.
I'll see y'all later! Maybe I'll have time to work on my project tonight.
funny how those cameras are so "shy" and love to hide!!!!
Jeff my youngest gave me a new camera the tiniest of things, I've a larger one and have been using it, hard enough to find it let alone these micro camera's..I'd never find it.
You working today Thunder?
Maggie, how did your special Thanksgiving Day go? are you gaining strength?
Yes, I am off to work very shortly....Had to have my coffee, and wake up with my friends first!!! ^_^
Y'all have a great day !
Enjoy your work day Thunder!
Your snowpeople are so cute. I am still working on both of mine but when I get a little further along will take pictures. I am putting arms on mine and not legs and making a snowman.
How creative you all are..Linda Kay, they look like they are smilling, looking up, waiting for more snow to fall to increase their family size...lol
Adorable
Can't wait to see what some of you have made with the surprise piece??
Those are both very nicely done, LK and housse. ^_^ I'm still behind on mine with all the house renovations going on. But I'll get there.
Laura, how adorable..did you use fimo for the noses? They look toasty with their shawls on..
And the snowman, think I see a cord, did you put mini lights in the tree???
How wonderful that you and the kids got to work on the projects..warms the heart to think of the time you've spent with the kids making memories...God Bless!
Yes it is fimo and the kids are painting wooden ornaments today. The gingerbread houses on Monday.(1st time for gingerbread houses)
you certainly are keeping them busy!!!
Look forward to seeing your other projects
Where did you find that little tree???I love it...and the whole piece, and the snow people too!!!!
I bought the little tree years ago . Thank you Thunder.
Very creative ladies!!! I still don't know what I'm going to do with my surprise.
Staff meeting, see y'all later!
Oh goodness, did you make the little quilt? How cute is that!
See Betty, same pattern for everyone, and we all decorate them different!
Linda Kay yes it is a quilt. Thank you I was afraid looking at the picture if anyone would be able to tell it is a quilt. I had a blast working on these projects.
You all are so creative with the mini tree, lights, buttons, nativity scene birdies and so many other clever ideas, including that adorable quilt.
Sorry to say the twigs Hubby gathered on one of his hunting ventures were too large and now that it's so blasted cold it's difficult to get the umph up. hmmm, guess next time I fill the bird feeders I'll snap a few off the Maple tree and try them. My poor Snow village is just like I left it, waiting for snow. Getting inspiration for our bonus project as well, thought it looked like a Gingerbread man after staining so a Gingerbread man he will be. Anybody have extra gumdrops...lol
Oh a gingerbreadman would be a great idea. Pictures when you are done. Pleasse
Would never have thought of a ginger bread man/woman...hmm sounds interesting and looking forward to seeing it.
Anybody not doing their project because they are not sure of what is to be done???
Here, willing to help!
It's just too adorable Thunder..do you have a photo of the original that I can ooohhh and ahhhh at
Thunder he is too cute. How big is finished size???
He is adorable, watch us all rush to our fabric pile and make one..lol
Have same background fabric as you have Thunder, perhaps we purchased it at Joann's
Just waiting for instructions Betty.
Hope I did not miss them along the way?
16.5'' square...the "vine" came from wal mart, it is actually meant to be used as "ribbon" to wrap packages.. think I got the little light bulbs at wal mart also..
Yes fabrics probably came from Joannes
I can e-mail the line drawings for the moose and the antlers if you want them...send me a d-mail with your e mail address..if you want a copy... and I can send you block measurements....
Ok Thunder I sent you a d-mail. Thank you
sending you e mail..enjoy, and show us pictures when you get it done...
