Night everyone!
Sleep tight!

Here is a link to one I saw in N carolina..

I have seen the other types, but not the old fashioned one.. Maybe I am not looking in the right places?

Clarksville, TN(Zone 7a)

Great T ball, Debra! Someone was looking for how to mount the Ts to make a ball but I've forgotten where that was. Shoot.

Yup, those are the kind of dogwoods we have here.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone! 38 here this morning! Not too cold!
I still have my two tone mandavillia blooming and some white lilies blooming!

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

oh Linda, those are so beautiful!

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

Debra you must not have any indoor cats. :0) If I hung that T ball here right now it would last about 2 minutes before the "kids" would have all the moss pulled off it. Never meant to have indoor kitties, but it is so cold here that we put in a pet door and they can come and go as they please. Mostly they stay. :0P They will be so spoiled by Spring.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I wish I could have an Indoor cat, I am lucky to have Duke inside. Joe does not like cats, and the neighborhood toms all love me. I am pretty sure that is why I have so many furgranbabys, all my children got a cat as soon as they moved out.
Off to the freezing windy cold, time to go to work, leotards, long johns and boots today. Bah!
Oh, A couple years ago College girl and I had a wreath making contests. here is mine.
I will post hers tommorrow.

Last night Joe and I had a cooking throw down. I will post his and mine and u all can vote for presentation or ( looks) since you can't taste it thru the putor.
Luv ya all//// Shiver/ sseeee u later!

Faye ..... my empathy goes out to you if you have Fibro. I've had it for about 15+ years now. It's no fun, everything but your hair hurts!!! My pain management doctor put me on 90mg of Celebrex a day, and that has helped a lot. Still feel bad sometimes, but not nearly like I use to!!!!!!

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Faye, congratulations to your daughter, your granddaughter and to you! WOW!!!!!!!
Aww Crit, I am so sorry you have to put up with that stuff. I know it hurts.

Isn't that one of the Grandest Christmas / Birthday presents you've ever received, Faye? Congrats, Dear Heart :) Have you got to hold her yet?

Amaryllis "Aphrodite" opened today and has two huge blooms on a very short stalk. We're talking seriously huge here at 8" tall and wide.

Here's how easytogrowbulbs.com describes her...
Named for the Greek goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite is a gorgeous double amaryllis, with a blush pink wash on the petal tips, blood red veining and a razor-edge red border. Big blooms flaunt multiple swept-back petals for a full, open look.

Faye what a wonderful Christmas present you got! Congrats.

Debra, http://www.statesymbolsusa.org/Missouri/treeDogwood.html

Well I stopped to see Debra last night on my way home from OKCity. She is such a sweetie. Debra was at work and I test drove a new car, while she had to work...rofl, have to admit there were things I REALLY liked about that car. DH is whining constantly about me getting a new car, I don't want one yet! So we will see. Can't say I am overly happy with my old car, except I just made the last payment, I need some recovery time from payments, geezhs. DH doesn't think the old car will last long enough and I drive so much...I don't know, I hate decisions. I need to win the lottery. I would of been fine if a deer hadn't totaled out my old car. It was paid for and was running good when a deer totaled it on New Years Eve coming home from work! I was crying when I called DH and he said why are you crying? sob...sob....because I didn't want to buy a new car....sob...sob.... The current car has not been a great car, has had issues....geez!

Anyway it was great to see you again Debra even if it was just for a few minutes. I will be coming back thru after the 1st of the year and I will plan it better if it works out for you....

Oh yes, calling for freezing rain! so glad I am back in Missouri!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Beautiful bloom fruity! Still haven't dug my out of the garage yet.....need to do that.

Forgot to tell you my latest escaped. Well this morning I take the company Van to the filling station in my little town and decide to leave it running because it is bitter cold and takes forever to warm that thing up! Now this is the first time I have ever done that. Welllllllllllllllllllll, I must of hit the door lock so the van is running at the gas station totally locked! I had to call work and get one of the guys to drive 45 minutes one way to unlock the door! The guy that owns the gas station went out and lowered the gar prices, came back in and said I did that for you because I figured you will have to refill it by the time they get here with the key.....everyone is a comic... ;) I told myself it could of been worse I could of been in OKCity when I did it. Course everone I knew came into the filling station this morning.....so far the guy at work hasn't told anyone but I am just waiting..... I figured I would never live this one down!

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

LOL joyce, ( sorry) You know that happened to me while I was showing a Jeep Cherokee.. the car ran out of gas before the pop a lock guy could come .. :P~ Home on lunch, talk to you all tonight.

PS: I am IN LOVE with that Aphrodite... see it does love spells over the internet.

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)

"Aphrodite" Wow, she's beautiful.
Ammama here to hope all of you are staying warm. Think I could stand the temp. if the wind wouldn't blow.
You are so right, Kaydince is the very best gift for Christmas and Birthday. I did not get a chance to hold her, lol so many people in line and I wanted to beat the late traffic going home. I will enjoy holding her when it is only my reaching for her. I am so selfish.

Isn't is strange, even with a red face and a lop sided head, they're still beautiful?

Got this little beauty blooming today. Joy brought this when she was here in Sept.

Beautiful! Has that bloomed before or is it new?

I need some eggnog. :)

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

Carole it had bloomed before Joy brought it and was just sending out an extension from that stalk. We weren't sure if it would come to anything, but there are 2 buds. This one and one other that should open in a few more days. I have it on my kitchen table so I can see it and I think it may be a little cold up next to the window.

Clarksville, TN(Zone 7a)

Congrats on getting it to bloom again for you. Seems a lot of times that doesn't happen. :(

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)
