Sue it's not good for animals to eat human food, way too much sodium for them. Don't do it, wait to feed her til you get more food, I'm sure she's not going to starve to death.

Sue, boil some chicken or if you have some ground meat, cook that. You can add cooked chopped carrots, potatoes and even green beans to bulk it up. That will keep Lucy temporarily 'well fed' till you can go to the store.

I do wish that CONGRESS will extend the unemployment benefits.
It's too close to the holidays.. all Americans should be well fed during the holidays :(

i made potato soup with garlic and herbs. fat free style. its good.
then i got some split pea lentil soup going . again fat free.
living on soup is good. i ate that whole pie over the long weekend , so i guess i have to get that extra inch i grew around the waist gone before Christmas LOL . sheesh.

Ah Doggie Soup, now that sounds delicious! LOL Look at all those soups you have going on! I did, I gained 7lbs over the weekend!

Kim has finally finished this semester of her studies--oh what a relief!!! Yeap, Mom feels the pressure too. Now the final weeks before Christmas break with her teaching--that can be hectic as the students are so ready to be out.

Off to run some errands today.

Huh Sue, I've never heard of it, I don't think. We like that Chinese hot sauce and Dave's using habanero sauce lately in things, adds just enough heat but he only uses a drop in like a whole pot of stew lol

i tried the eggwhites ( eggbeatere ) too and i didn't like them yuck. i use real eggs and only one yolk per 3 eggs. They are hard to give up arn't they ? LOL
but if you use enough Salsa Verde and hot sauce you can make anything taste good LOLLLL

How is everyone doing these freezing cold days??? I had to give up my bowling. My hands are so bad I can not grip anything. I have a doctor's appt. but not until the 20th. I will know more then if there is anything that can be done for my hands. My mom had the same problem and they did surgery on her's. And she is doing just great!!! So I am hoping that they can help me too.

After shopping and shopping for wedding rings I finally got mine. It is different but I love it!!

Fixed a pot of potato soup for supper. Had some leeks added too. Mixed in bacon as well.
Kel don't feel like beans.. and this he loves. The cold outside warrants a hot steamy bowl of creamy soup. Thank God it's not a regular thing. Can't be doing bacon all the time!!
