Same problem keeps me away from exotic dance establishments.

How would you explain that the exotic dancer "followed you home" to your wife and boys?
Are you thinking of getting a puppy, Jen? Exciting!
'Stray', pirl.
Uh oh, Victor!
I don't go near puppies or kittens.....or bunnies, or_________the list could go on. Lets just say I never go to pet stores that have animals in cages, or pounds.
Oh, no....too sad! When I went to Lollipop Farm a few years ago with my niece, I had to leave the dog area because I was in tears. When she adopted her kitty, Eddie, in Aug. the dog area was closed to visitors....I'm glad it was.
I'm the same way....just can't look into those faces and walk away. Breaks my heart just thinking about all of the homeless animals.

Heck no!!!! I am sooooo not doing the puppy stage again.
Yeah, you have to get through that first year, and then it's really fun. I ...think... we survived relatively in tact.
Glad for you, my dog is an idiot.
Jen, I have the King of Idiots! I was knitting in the living room yesterday....can't knit near him, because he grabs the yarn....I left the door opened one min. while I went to check on my soup....my other dog, Suey, the obedient one, came slinking into the kitchen, & looked up at me.....knew the dale was into something....there he was, under the Christmas tree, pulling bows off the presents....in one minute! And he knows he's never allowed in the living room.....and he laughed when I hollered at him!
Looks like Dale will get coal in his stocking this Christmas!
He will probably just chew on it and get charcoal all over the rug!
Or throw up all over the house!
So sorry to hear about your losses Weeze and Noreaster. It is particularly heart squeezing at this time of year.
And this is why there is no christmas Tree at my house!

OMG when did the crazy old cat sneak away and make that film?!?!?!?! Really, truly he's a blobby, pooffy, clutzy cat just like that. Actually though his first Christmas when he was a powderpuff he slapshot a big ornament into the wall and it exploded. Scared the bedoodles out of him so he is very careful about the shiny twinkly things on the tree now. O except for the tinsel. He would poop tinsel for a month if we still put tinsel on the tree.
Great flic YankeeCat. I laughed so hard I snorted my tea ^_^
