LOL!!!
and that's the reason I don't have cats....LOL
Memory, that was the cutest! We always kept the French doors to the tree room closed when we had the kitties...of course, I still have to keep them closed, or the airedale will do the same trashing trick!
LOL is right!!!
Jen, your nephew's dog is very cute.
Adorable pic of Ollie, Marilyn!
Celeste, I love that picture of your sweetie.
My Patches isn't a "must be touching you" dog, but she does like to follow me around and be close to me. That is when she isn't sleeping, which is probably at least 70% of the time. She loves being near me whenever I'm doing things in the house, like cleaning my room, working on some kind of project that is different from most other times. She likes to keep her eye on me to see what I'm doing.
Memory, that was such a funny cartoon of the cat and the Christmas tree.

They have found how to reverse aging. I was 1/2 awake so here I go:
At the ? Univerisity they found in mice that they could reverse their age. They found that the tips of the DNA would wear down (4 tips ) called Telmones (sp).
They turned on something? Hormone or some chemical ( I dont remember what I saw) and it repaired the Telmones. The mices brain got bigger, grew back its hair, hearing and eye sight was restored. The mouse they were talking about had lived 9/10th % of its live and restored it.
This was on channel 5 in Boston WBZ the 6 am news.

I saw a piece about that as well.. can you imagine being 60 or 70 and looking 30???
Please??!!
telomere, the enzyme that acts on it is telomerase. Does it come in a bottle??^_^
Wow.....I need some of that stuff.....
If I looked younger would I still have arthritis?
Yeah, but who wants to look like a mouse?!!
it is supposed to stop all the degenerative things we get... I say no Aurthur's Rightits
Mona is a velcro cat when DD is away at school.
Oh, I'd like to reverse my effects of age. Can I get some? I'm sure the cost will be greatly prohibitive for most people when that finally hits the market. Sure wish I could get some for my Dad. Wonder if it would reverse the effects of Alzheimer's?
Karen
Found an article on it. Turns out scientists are concerned that the process could fuel hidden cancers or cause new ones to develop.

Wait....you mean I DON'T look 30???? lol
And don't ANYONE answer that question!!! LOL
I watch more TV when on vacation than I do at home. We were just away this weekend and watched Monkey Business with Cary Grant and Marilyn Monroe. It was about a chemist trying to develop a fountain of youth formula - kind of funny! The monkey was the best part.
Love Cary Grant. Looking at Marilyn is never too difficult either.
Why thank you! Louise, you look youthful....no complaining!
Just got back to work after taking the morning off to pick up one of the stray cats I feed from the vet. I didn't notice the abcess under it's front leg and the price of that was $400 and half a vacation day. On the up side - Yowmee got a bath and is very soft and smells good. Also, I now know he is a he and not the she I thought. (Well those cats are extra poufy and there are places I just don't want to go!) I am so thankful I got that extra class this Fall - helped put on the roof (now complete) and take care of one of God's little creatures.
LOL!
Don't think that age reversal thing will work on looks, just certain age-related medical conditions. Bummer!
Karen
Ouch! on that vet bill, Memory. They really getcha on those things.
Karen
Check this out - a movie made by cats. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8zuINXmqCI
Cats are into everything! You have a good heart, Memory, taking care of those strays!
Neat video!
Karen
Memory, it is so like you to be so kind to our homeless friends. I admire you.
Weeze - that's a lovely shot of your pretty fur kid.
Karen - I'd be far more interested in better health than better looks! One matters; one does not.
I would too, Louise!
Awwww, Weeze, your kitty looks so cute under the tree!
Karen
Cute Yank!
Weeze, he looks so comfy under the tree!
Very nice pic, Weeze.
Cute video, Cat!
The cat almost looks fake, does he bother the ornaments?
He's a handsome fellow, Weeze! We had a big orange one like that called Max...he was a toughie.
He doesn't bother the ornaments but considers it his private water bowl.
As a kid in the 1960's, the family labrador retriever was a real tail-wagging type, so all ornaments below 3 feet on the Christmas tree had to be "industrial strength" and not precious.
The "good ornaments" were placed at eye level....isn't that what supermarkets do, place the most expensive items at eye level, lol?
