Thanks.
They are so pretty! Bet you don't miss the coleus being inside!
Ohhhh I have coleus. Just not as many. Its so much more managable this year.
Pretty colors, Jo....Victor, I'd like the humidity from the hot tub, too!
It's great during these months.
Pretty!!! That purple is stunning!
thanks... nice Christmas surprise right???.. and being these plants made it this far... I have high hopes... LOL.. once I get passed the holidays usually life is good... back to thinking spring
Great blooms to brighten these cold days, Allison!
Our indoor white cyclamen is blooming for the 3rd straight year. It originally cmae from the Christmas church decoration.
thanks Pirl... nice Iris... you always keep it inside?.. or put it out during the warmer months?
It is kept inside. There is too much to do outside to bother with it. I never expected it to bloom again, but here it is, blooming away. It is in a west window.
Victor, I don't think I'd have the room to overwinter EE's. My porch is getting pretty full. The plants took a hit from the cold a couple of weeks ago. Found out my heating vent in there was blocked. The vent that was open was the intake vent, and I thought it was the output vent. Put it to rights as soon as I found out, but I lost my 2 orchids in there, my 2 draceanas, and the 2 brugs lost all their foliage. Looks like the brugs are putting out new foliage now, though, so that's good. Oh, and my corn plant is not looking too good. My pineapple sage did not seem to suffer at all. All my coleus cuttings died, though.
Love the poinsettias, Jo. I have not bought any this year, as funds have been low, but I look at them whenever I see them for sale. Stop and Shop has had some really nice ones this year. Has anyone seen rose poinsettias? A friend in Iowa bought some. Very pretty. I have not seen them around here.
Gorgeous, Allison!
Good news on the cyclamen, Lucy. I don't have any, though I bought 2 hardy ones from a seller in NY last year. Will see if they make it through the winter. They were already going dormant when they arrived here.
Karen
Karen, so sorry for your loss of plants, especially the orchids! Lucy, I have a cyclamen that's on it's second year....forgot to put it outside...glad I didn't.
Well, I do have 3 other orchids in the house that are still youngsters and maybe a year from blooming yet. Those will be staying in the house.
Karen
That's definitely neon, too! Very nice!
Karen
love it!!!!
Neon is certainly named right!
Nice!!!!!
Thats beautiful Robin and well named!
It's one I hadn't seen before.....am hoping WFF has their warehouse sale next month, so I can get several for reduced prices!
Merry Christmas, everyone! Wish I had some amaryllis in bloom now.
Karen
Lots and lots of leaves here but no flower stalks...yet.
I have to replant a bulb and plant a new one. We will see if I get anything from them.
Karen
My amaryllis are not blooming either (lots of leaves tho)...and I have about 6 or 7.....but my Christmas cactus are...at least 3 of them are.
The narasiss(sp?) are starting to put out green shoots which is a good sign on them.
Picture of the living room window where the cactus are...nice, cause we're supposed to get lots of snow today. Our one cat is watching the birds at the bird feeder out front.....just watchin.....

Yes, Jen, looks like salvia to me. Just make sure it's not Salvia divinorum. LOL!
