awwww they are adorable. I re-potted a bunch of stuff today, since the newer tip cuttings were rooted. I had to re-pot alot of stuff today. I also had to put plastic up over the pink bedroom window, it is missing the glass on the bottom, and the plants were getting cold.
I will have too look at the tag for this
debra, that is real cool, what kind of shell is that?
retta
That is neat Debra. Is that a coconut?
It is beautiful, Debra. The g'kids are great kids.

Charlene, good morning, is it cold down your way, 22 degrees here this morning with a wind chill that makes it 3 degrees, I really want too move too a warm zone
oh I am doing something nice for myself, on December 30th, I am getting the blown in foam insulation, so next month my heating bill will be cut by 1/3
Elizabeth
Elizabeth, I hope my little air plants all get big and have babies. Please show us yours. And your trees. DH says no tree until the 17th. College girl is going to throw a fit. I tried to tell him that traditionally we have always gotten a tree the tenth of the month or there abouts. 2 weeks. I gave up on the argument, decided College girl can finish the conversation when she comes home. She has always been the one to go with him, and decorate too.
That is a great gift to yourself, insulation. You will love it I am sure. The lower bills will be fantastic.
So cold here, Charleen, the birdbath is frozen.
Retta, I sure hope you are prepared to be addicted to brugs once you smell them.
Dee, we all miss you. I wish I could send you wireless or something. I used to have dial up, it was a pain.
Longears had to break ice to get to water. I had a milkjug of water ready for chicken.
I wish Retta could poke her nose in my little gh. the blooms are all gone but the smell is still there. Beautiful!!!!Yes, Debra, go to Tractor supply and get one of the bird water heaters.

Charlene, I bet your hair cut looks nice
Elizabeth
Elizabeth, it feels better, Don't know if I like it or not. I had her to cut it shorter, it was down on my shoulders and I was getting so tired of it. I like the back. My hair is as straight as a string. Here is a picture of me. i took it awhile ago. I'm my own worst critic. overlook the wrinkles....☺
Mornin' everyone!
Debrah, you planter is so cute.Looks like a baby octopus, all snuggled in his cradle.Your begonias are looking very happy also.
Elizabeth, your trees are beautiful.Makes me want to get mine up.Gonna do it this week-end.
Look! It's Charlie the reinmule. How cute, Charleen!
Dee
I really like your haircut, Charleen. It will be soo easy to take care of. I need to get mine cut too...and color it before Christmas.Don't know where all these silver threads on top my head came from....well, yeah, I do. I earned everyone of 'em..lol My hair is straight as a poker too.
Dee
Thank you, Dee. i sure don't "DO" anything with mine either. Just leave those silver threads like a badge o honor. Earned everyone of them ☺ Bet you all been having cold weather, I know it is cold down here. had ice in birdbath. Upplugged couple and replaced the empty sockets with heaters for water. Knocked a hole in the ice and heater is in place. Too cold when water freezes.
Hugs to all,
Charleen
Charlene, I like your hair cut, my hair is straight as a poker also, I have been wanting too get mine cut, but haven't decided what I want yet, DH doesn't like short hair
if he had too work with it, I know he would change his mind
Dee, it's so good having you back, are you in the deep freeze there? we sure are here, 12 degrees tommorrow morning, it's early this year, that's usually in January, I can't wait till they get the foam insulation in
Elizabeth
That Clivia is gorgeous. What a treat!
I love your haircut Charleen. It is nice to see you and Charlie.
I wish I could cut mine, but last time I did, DH didn't smile at me as much. LOL I just coloured my halo of silver friday and spent the weekend in bed sick. Ugh.
Good to see you Dee, it is always good to see my good friends here.
Look at Kaitlyn's pods. I am Not cutting on her while she is "with pods" I have no clue how long it takes for them to ripen. This is a first for me. Edited to put Kaitlyns name in as I have Flamenco right beside me and it isn't with pods.

Girls, It is a lot easier to take care of being shorter, I like my hair short. Not so many headaches either. Cause I had it in ponytail I guess it gave me headaches.
Brrrrr!! Cold here and partly cloudy but still a pretty day.
Elizabeth, the Clivia is so pretty.
Charleen
Debra
I am sorry you've been sick, I think it can take months for the pod too ripen, I have yet too seed a seedpod, Congratulations, lots of Brug Babies next season Yippee

Elizabeth
Elizabeth, they use a hardener in there to make it harden. got all kinds of things now to make things work. I'd let you too Elizabeth. I bet it would look better than what this girl did. It's o.k. Just got to keep telling "me" to get used to straight hair.
wild isn't it????? 64 and can't do anything with my own hair.
It still feels cold. Brrrr!!!!
Charleen
Charlene
you're just too cute, the things about cutting hair is if you know the basic hair cut you can do all any hair cut, the sun is out & so warm, I have my curtain open, just too feel the sun, the thing with the cement is they do have additives, I think it's job security, if you got too see my yongest GS's hair you would love it, it's curly, with his Blue
eyes, he's something else
Elizabeth
I know he is beautiful Blue eyes, I love too. He sounds like an angel Elizabeth.
Charleen

I have a nice fat Cherub cutting ready and wrapped, but realized I already sent that person a Cherub. Please SOMEONE say they want it so I don't have to unwrap the bubble wrap , PLEASE>
When I am 80 I will still have long hair, maybe only three strands, but it will be long if I am still joeswife. LOL
debra,since i already have cherub,here is the recipe,lol
1 box of vanilla wafers(break up and then roll rolloing pin over those until its powder)unless u have a food prosser, which i don't.
1cup walnuts
4 tablespoons powered cocoa
4 tablespoons karo syrup or honey(ur choise)
1/4 cup dark rum(called for 1/2 cup,but don't as they are really soggy, and mine have to dry out.
mix well all ingredients, roll into small balls, and roll in powered sugar.
place in tin for 1 week then eat.
enjoy,enjoy
Retta, I will have too write that down, sounds yummy, your temps sure are better than mine, but tommorrow we have a warm up also, either 37 or 39, then they are calling for snow, over the week end
