Hope you all checked out the wonderful photos in the last thread. We came from-
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1136973/
We took a trip to the Mendocino Botanical Gardens on the coast a couple days ago and I was able to photograph this Black Oystercatcher and Black Turnstone out on a large boulder in the ocean.
DAILY BIRD PICS VOL. 353
Those are all nice duc but that first one is really special. Anxiously awaiting what you find when you sort through the rest of the Mendocino shots. Thanks for starting the new thread.
Wow, duc, those are some really good pics. Nice way to start the new thread.
Hack
Hi everyone! I have been MIA from DG for some time now. My work schedule after I returned from vacation became very hectic, and I just couldn't seem to make the time to catch up here. I have tried to peek in and lurk every once in a while! Hope I didn't miss way too much and I hope everyone is doing well!
Duc... those are great photos from your trip to start the new thread, but I just LOVE that Northern Flicker! Gorgeous!
Hack... that first pic of the Chickadee is great and the female cardinal is lovely!
About a month ago, I had the opportunity to photograph some beautiful owls from the Raptor Conservancy of Virginia. As their name implies, they rescue, rehab, and release only raptors. As with all organizations such as this, there are birds that cannot be released. I got to "meet" four of them.
Eastern Screech Owl - grey morph
Nice shots all!! Duc, thanks for starting the new thread love that first shot!
Hack, that is a very nice set of your birds!
VA_Wild_Rose, Wow! you just made me happier to be a Canon T1i owner...it did a great job on the Owls!! Nice!
Nice collections of shots on the last thread everyone!!
A few from the backyard...some from the Bay...which is starting to come to life again right on schedule.
First a couple of the Downy Woodpecker
Beautiful photos both Burd & Wild Rose. We have not heard the screech owls lately. I hope they are still around.
Will just say I love all the pics and great new thread as always!!
I had some Purple Finch yesterday but I have to download the pics and see if any are good! I saw 2 males and 1 female so that made for a good day here. The strong winds we have been having have not made it very nice to go out looking. Hope they move on soon!
I do have a Cardinal that was at the feeder. The wind was blowing his little crest up!
Yes, Thanks to all for the wonderful shots in the last thread!
Duc, I absolutely love that first shot along with the others. Thanks for starting the new thread!
This thread is really going fast. Great pics form everyone!
I just received my new Canon Rebel T2i (Eos 550D). I haven't taken any shots or videos with it yet but I hope to get some today and I'll be going down the shore tomorrow for a few days for some bird watching.
