Does anyone have familiarity with an electronic product called, "Stream Direct TV"?
It states: 4500 channels, for a one-time fee, available on your laptop.
I feared it was a scam, but my research so far indicates a solid company.
Please let me know if there is someone with actual knowledge/experience with the product.
That's Entertainment!! Part 5
Looks like some type of seeker program which will find streams categorized by genre. The streams are free to the public, this program just makes it easier to find them.
Thank you for the info, I'm a tech dinosaur!
Part of me wants to live in Andy Griffith's Mayberry.

Welllllll........
Saw the new Harry Potter and loved it. Now can't wait for part II. I've loved all the Harry Potter movies. I'm a big sci-fi/fantasy fan.
I also saw Tangled. In fact, saw it twice. I get to see movies free whenever I take one of my special needs people to a movie. Fun. Tangled was a very fun and entertaining movie. Gotta agree with Victor, though, that Disney has the same formula adjusted to fit a different twist of a new movie. This is another Disney princess movie. Oh, and of course there's the tear-jerker ending where you think someone has died, but no, they really have not. Disney does that ALL the time. No one ever dies in their animated films. That's a cop-out, if you ask me. Maybe they think kids can't handle reality.
Been following a new show in AMC on Sunday nights called The Walking Dead. "Oh, no, not another zombie story!", you say. Well, this is one of the best zombie stories I've ever come across. I think they're about 4 episodes into the season so far. Great cast of characters and good story so far. And the zombies are very realistic, as far as make-up is concerned. Don't know if someone has mentioned this show in a previous thread. I'm just jumping in on this installment and haven't read previous ones.

Oh man, Karen...you should have said "SPOILER ALERT!!!!"
Oops! Sorry, Jen. Just thought everyone here knew that all Disney animated movies ended that way.
LMAO! Too funny, Sherrie!
Karen
I've seen people die in real life. Movies just can't capture the reality, (thank God).
- Incredible condition of those jars Sherrie, they look brand new!
Those are cool, Sherrie. How do you know they are in fact that old and originally painted?
those are cool Sherrie
Looking at early 1900's. The paint none are painted the same. None of the jars are shaped the same, chances are they had a different mold. Imperfections little fireing bubbles. They are porcelain and I cant even find any on the entire web. They are on ebay with alot of nicer pics. Heres the number, copy and paste it into the ebay search and you can read what I wrote. 250734157563
can't wait to see what they go for
I did see one go off on ebay a couple months ago. The one that began with a C :-)
It went for 122.50. As long as I get my money back and a tad more I am happy. I am expecting them to go in the 300 range, but will have to wait and see as they might not even get a bid at my starting price.
Wow! I had thought you were joking about those, but I see you're serious. My bad. Hope you get a good price for them.
Karen
Would be fun to put them out on the table! Sugar in the cocaine jar. Flour in the heroin one, etc.
Or to give to their misbehavin' husband??
Those are great Sherrie!
Love them Sherrie.
They don't all end that way, 101 Dalmations, Cinderella, Sword and the Stone, Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Aristocats, Dumbo, Robin Hood and Snow Buddies didn't end like that....of course very few of them
I wasn't referring to deaths or anything like that. I am referring to the 'formula' used for the past ten of fifteen years. It's not just Disney, but most animated films. The characters are virtually the same - basically variations of Shrek characters. No imagination at all. And now, it MUST be in 3D.
- as if 3D was something new, they had 3D movies back in the early 1950's. lol
Yeah what is up with the 3D?????
Is this FOR REAL?

Yep, isn't that the coolest thing...
India and China sure are popping out those babies...sheesh
Yep, that's why no one messes with China. (lol!)

World clock link: cool site, frightening statistics.
I remember Leslie when he was a heavy in dectective shows.
Question about a news item this AM
Does anyone believe the father gave away his 3 sons and tried to hang himself?
I never heard of someone intent on hanging themselves, fail like he did.
Anyone catch 'Oddities' on the Science Channel last night?? Weird, but interesting. From the producers of Pawn Stars.
