Hope it's a success, with little or no pain.
Coffee Break # 46 - Noreaster Edition!
Thanks, all! I think I saw a little yellow submarine float by in that video!
Well, when they start to put you under sing "We all live in a yellow submarine.." ^_^
Oh man Celeste warn a person when you post a video will ya!!!!! ICK
Sorry! Should of put a warning!
I'm not going to look!
best of luck Victor... hope all goes well
Thanks, Allison.
I asked the surgeon and he said that 90% of his surgeries are due to people being overweight! Wow.
Good luck Victor! Knee replacements are no fun, I hope the scope works for you. Is it your first one?
Thanks, Ronnie. Yes - first.
My husband had three and then the knew knee!
Wow.
bet your glad you are in the other 10%
:)
Yes - I have enough problems as is!
Funny thing is - I did put on some weight last year - literally a first for me. It was due to a medication. Have not been able to lose it. But now that I've been able to start running on the treadmill again, I am confident I will. Hopefully I will be down to close to normal so I have a cushion for the rehab.
you are better than me
Everybody gets a little weight when they get older, - you know 'love handles', metabolism slows down, a couple of beers makes you skip a few belt holes, a couple of jelly doughnuts = expandable waist pants, etc etc... - just think, you won't have to hire a Santa Clause for the kids next year! (lol!)
and of course this time of year bulking up for the winter
you have that right WC - last few years it has gotten worse - it is the next few months when the pds stick - have not been too successful knocking them off due to my knee problems - might have to go to the golden retriever diet - ?? don't know what that is - it is what i call my wifes diet, for dinner she has a can of green beans and that is it - she is looking pretty good so maybe i can think of another exercise if i can get agreement :)
Im not sure what your talking about on FB as far as privacy. What I see is your all set as far as your careful what you type or put on because once you do it, you cant take it back. No different then here or any where.
Other then that its the applications or games you want to be involved with. You click on the smiley face apps and click allow, you release your information.
I upload pics, and post a few jokes that are boarderline with the FB police and talk to people now and again. I dont have a problem. Yet.
On FB if you stay away from all the apps and games and set your privacy to friends only, you're pretty much safe.
Hope your knee problem will get better after the surgery, Victor. A woman in my writing class has 2 knee replacements...she's very overweight...and she was going to surgeon today...she was told arthritis was forming around the replacement joints, & is very painful....she's been getting cortisone injections.
Thanks, Marilyn. Was just trading knee stories with my son's teacher. She has almost the same thing but her kneecap is moving all over. She is a lifelong runner and is upset. Her son just tore an acl in football.
FB is transmitting your info to third parties for marketing purposes. They claim they did not know. Don't be fooled into thinking that any of your settings mean anything. And it's NOT like DG! There are hundreds of millions of FB users. That's what advertisers and sellers lust after.

Most people put too much - not only in their profiles, but in their posts.
ROTFL
I'd kill him if the shots were lost! Some nice cameras no doubt ruined.

Luckily other people seemed to be taking pictures.
Chalk up at least 15k there for job hazards. lol!
Oh, that would so be me! If there's a hazard, I'll find it!
Hee hee!
Scary, even after all these decades....
Whoa! Never knew that....wonder if LBJ knew....
My question is - why was he walking by himself at night. Duh.
That video of the photographer...stinkin' funny!
