Just saw the first half. He always was a speedy runner, but I think the broadcasters should have been more professional.
Sports Talk!! Part 5
He had to outrun the dogs.
80 straight for the UCONN ladies! Truly amazing.
Yes, but I'm still weak from watching.......someone will beat them this year....too many freshmen...if Caroline Doty hadn't torn her ACL, Uconn would have won by a larger margin.
Wait til Vick goes to the Dog Pound in Clevland
I didn't watch the Eagles game because he turns my stomach. Iris, what were the broadcasters doing that seemed unprofessional?
Sort of cheering, rather than describing--almost every play.
but that would have been a tough game not to get excited over, and they all seem to like one team over another
Going for Musberger--I think he favors the offense, gets more excited then. Maybe the guys on ESPN are the same. anyhow it was annoying, not professional.
Just back from the Army hockey game. Good game - ended in a 4-4 tie. Lots of contact. Army had their chances at the end of the overtime period.
Watched U of Wisconsin football game this afternoon on TV & the basketball game tonight. Good to see the cardinal & white.
Uconn blew out Syracuse at the Dome.....can't believe they're finally getting it together.
Jets are the new cardiac kids! Geeze!
that will not work in the playoffs
You're right.
Yes, but it makes for a great season....fun to watch!
Saw Uconn win a thriller this afternoon...K. Walker scored 29 points in the second half after sitting on the bench almost the whole 1st half due to fouls....hard to get in the groove after that, but he did & scored 32 total....42 his last game.
Wow.
Terry Collins? Never heard much about him, he hasn't managed since 99....is this the best the Mets could find?
My same thoughts.
manger suits the team?
I'm happy for Josh Hamilton today. He's climbed a long way up from the gutters of severe drug addiction to achieve great success in baseball and winning the AL MVP award today should serve as an example to others that they shouldn't give up on themselves.
Cool. He played on our Hudson Valley Renegades!
Hope that is true g-sox - read that he has a relapse last off season - hell of a ball player
He did have a relapse and he got caught - which was probably a good thing. But he's got some guys around him now that are trying to watch out for him and keep him in line. I heard that CJ Wilson, one of the pitchers on the Rangers, organized a ginger ale celebration for him and their teammates after they clinched in the playoffs so he didn't have to be around the champagne. After celebrating for a while, Wilson took Hamilton to hang out alone while the rest of the guys went to pop the corks on the champagne.
Good for them! Hard to fight an addiction, hope he finds the strength to do it. Just watched unranked Uconn beat 2nd ranked Michigan St. Walker threw in 30 points.....had 31 last night, & 42 the game previous to that....and he's short! Has to work for all those points!
sorry Bill
Stayed up past midnight last night watching the Uconn men demolish 9th ranked Kentucky...they won the Maui championship, & Walker won the MVP...this from a team on no one's radar.
thx deb
that game went from - i can't believe it - to hang in there - they're ahead - they will win!!! - to i can't believe it!
at least they put on a good show - insert four letter word!
I know, I thought they had it, I don't usually root for Dallas but I was yesterday.
They're losing creatively this year.
JETS!! Big test next week.
Detroit got tired in the 2nd half. remember that Packers. Then they looked discouraged as the Patriots came on.
Who won the Indy/SD game last night?
Browns won again. They're happy here.
SD, big time. It seems Peyton is trying to keep up with his brother's interception record.
Packers lost. I am NOT happy.
I want some of what Jeter must be smoking.
Why?
He wants 25 mil/yr for four or five years!
Oh, is that all? Not very realistic!
