Wow, thanks for posting the photos all! I think I need to go get so zinnias! I've not tried many of those, just in a pot, and they did well. I wonder why I didn't think to put them in beds? What is wrong with me =D!

Irving, TX(Zone 8a)

You can buy 1lb of ZINNIA for just $20 here: http://shop.wildseedfarms.com/Zinnias/products/4/
Just trow them at the end of March !!! The seeds need light to germinate.
Just water the seeds untill they emerge. Those Zinnias will survuve our HOT TX summer. More sun more flowers

Alba, TX(Zone 8a)

Cool!

Liberty Hill, TX(Zone 8a)

Zinnas and cosmos are great for blooms in hot, dry Texas summers. If you want wildflowers in spring you need to sow the seeds in the fall.

Irving, TX(Zone 8a)

Not the Zinnias. They will not take the freeze. I have tried that last year. No seed came out.

Liberty Hill, TX(Zone 8a)

Zinnias and cosmos arn't Wildflowers and they are annuals anyway. Wildflowers/Natives are the type you see on the side of the road like Bluebonnets. Poppies also need to be sown in the fall/winter for spring blooms.
