- Yep, it's hooked up to the outgoing air at the fan part of the furnace stuff. it's also hooked up to the plumbing so it's auto filled and keeps the humidity at the right level according to the outside temp. (new system, came with the house).

Can you set the humidity level??

Yes, I can manually override the auto settings if I like.

Bad news is another dark, dreary, rainy and chilly morning. Good news is it should be the last for a couple days. It will be nice to see a ray of sun again. Present temp is 57 degrees and that pesky NE wind is still in control but only lightly.

It is 55 & pouring right now....just like Mother Nature to try to stop a 6 month drought with 2 weeks of rain! I would gladly share, Bill! Need to see the sun......

Well we have lost a degree and the wind is coming from due north now when there is any, a good sign that things are finally moving east again. Still raining, sometimes light and sometimes a real downpour, but always some rain coming down.
I had to turn the heat on for a bit to get rid of the dampness and take the chill off a little. Hated to do it but it is not just me and mom was starting to ask about it.
