Hi CeeKay....nice to meetcha! My fingernails are just like yours, and I have thorn scratches all over my lower arms, so I look like I've been in a war every fall and spring as I dig up and transplant from one location to the other.

And speaking of Florida (as if I were....lol) watch it, Victor! Glad you corrected yourself and gave Cuba the rap! You need an attitude adjustment about our winter home. You get what you get when you go in August instead of March! :)

After Tues. rain, the grasses came out easier, although some have roots plunged too deep & those break.

Rain ugh - but it is needed, so I will take it. The river beds up here are now rocks. One road we drove down the trees are all brown from the dirt, looks really wierd.

The rain seems to be west of us and going north. Some rain predicted here by nightfall.

Occasional showers and drizzle. Most heavy rain going west of here too for today. Tonight and tomorrow it will be heavy here as well. Still muggy with some light gusty winds that are due to increase this afternoon bringing in some cooler air eventually. Current temp is 73 degrees with a southerly wind.

Very tropical feeling....today is my son's birthday, & I was going to meet everyone at a restaurant, but I canceled...weatherfolks said heavy rain & wind for late afternoon, & I don't want to drive in that after dark.

Thank you....it's a tough one for him without Doug...he'll be 36 at 2:15 this afternoon...very strange since I'm just around 40! He was a very easy delivery.....I was induced at 7 in the morning, but only felt labor pains 15 min. before he was born....I guess I was in better shape then!
