Sorry, Jen....blame Massachusetts!
Today's Weather in your Garden -79
If we were not so nice we would keep all the rain for ourselves.
0.7 inch so far.
Wet, with a wind....Heathcliff on the moors.
71 and drizzly. 0.92 inch so far since yesterday.
72°, wind SSE 15mph, Rh 81°, mist
1.2" total here, very muggy/damp am today, thick cloud cover
hoping the t-storms hit hard here today - did not get any real rain fall yesterday just drizzle.
There are still puddles everywhere, we did get heavy showers....70 right now, breezy, very cloudy...under severe Tstorms watch.....
Yes, t-storms in the forecast today.
Very muggy out there.
Cloudy :59 °F
Barometer:29.86 in and steady
Humidity:88 %
Visibility:1 mi
Dewpoint:55 °F
Wind:CALM
Sunrise:6:32 AM
Sunset:6:25 PM
High 70
Low 62
Rain expected today and tonight, should get 3/4" to an inch.
The official NWS thermometer in LA broke yesterday after hitting 113.
One more reason not to live in LA
As if one more was needed!!
I'm not going to dump on L.A.: I'll let more informed individuals do it for me.
They have to get better thermometers
L.A. people don't have time to get better thermometers...they're busy staring into their mirrors.
Rainy
YIKES there is a tornado watch posted for NJ
I hate to hear that......
Berkshires & western CT as well. A watch means conditions favorable--not seen. ends a 6pm.
Here too.
I can honestly say the sky creeped me out today... clouds moving all fast and some higher staying still... very strange indeed
Only low clouds here....every once in awhile, a downpour......state received between 1-2" of rain.....I think we are in the higher range......
about 1.5" this afternoon, some of it in downpours but most at a reasonable rate. the ground has been so dry, I don't think there was much runoff. tomorrow predicted dry with showers on thurs.
Yeah, here too... I kept an eye on that sky
like a hawk baby
I hear a lot of rumbling in the distance
lots of rain here - finally - need more - was still moving sprinklers

Not nearly enough here. About an inch total.
1.2" between yesterday and today. Hope it clears out tomorrow like it's suposed to.
A bit above 70 for most of the day in the "cap. city" of VT., but the sticky humidity was quite a surprise. Weeding in early a.m. fog w/layers of shirts on, but by 10 a.m. peeling off one after the other and tossing onto my badly abused backyard semi-curved yard mountain of weeds that I was tossing into a giant ugly orange "snow-boat" I found at an nearby Agway for $3. several yrs. ago.) We call IT out "handy-man". Hopefully by Thanksgiving, I will have my fingernails back to a nice CLEAN bit of 1/4 inch beyond my severely caloused 'quik'. (I hate gloves!) Still very 'sticky' near midnight, but note a cool breeze coming in, somewhat cooler tomorrow and rain (we need) Thurs. & Fri.
Keep the "fall faith" as the days get shorter.
Corinne Kelley Lawson (CeeKay) from VT.
Yep, humidity is forecast here, but sooner or later the crisp, clear days will be here.
supposed to be 80 and humid here - we got about an inch too victor have not seen that in months so it was great - sprinklers still on.
We had a monsoon last night the top heavy Zinnias are on the ground, grrr.
Right now it is 69' with clouds and sun and a cool breeze.
We're supposed to get a monsoon tomorrow.
Now it's sunny and 66. Great for my hike.
Lovely photo!
Gorgeous Jen!!!!!!!!
77 here and sunny! I'm in shorts and a tank top...feels good!! haven't had shorts on in 2 weeks!
Great shot, Jen.
Was nice for the hike. Getting overcast now. Climbed up a mountain to 1300 feet. Great southern view of the Hudson.
