Coreopsis 'Full Moon' and dwarf butterfly bush are still blooming. Not many sections of the garden are this colorful now.

The drought has effected a lot of plants this year in one way or another. The fall sedum seem to be smaller and not as brightly colored.This is sedum October Daphne.

The most colorful plants in my garden now are annuals. Verbena and cosmos.

and finally it looks like the hobbits have moved in and started a garden. I am still waiting for the new front doors for the house.

just wait until you see what he is building for the ghost with the motor... the only way I can describe it... a huge shadow box... we picked up some of that cheap brick paneling from HD to put on the front .. and black lights to go in the inside

Chinese forget me not, I took the seeds from the ones in my wildflower garden and spread them in my blue/yellow/white garden, they just started to bloom

the ones I grew from cuttings from last years plant ... still have not bloomed.. wonder if there is a trick to it... they are big and full.. but no blooms

Some last shots from here. The nights are consistantly cold 40's+.
The hard freeze is predicted for mid October but nights this cold will whack out the coleus.
