Really? Thank you!!!!!!
of course
will have to check that link out at home - not connecting here - i want to add a sunshine blue and the yellow green var. one as i only have one each of those - better than buying one for sure.
I have two types of the caryopteris. 'Worcester Gold' and 'Sunshine Blue'. I think you probably could also layer them easily but I have not done so myself. The 'Sunshine Blue' is a stronger plant I think at least in my garden. Tried the green leaved variety years ago and it faded away after a couple of years. The yellow/green ones have lasted about 5-7 years or more so far. The 'Worcester Gold' foliage is not as yellow as 'Sunshine Blue' more a lime green I think. Here are a pic of each. 'Worcester Gold' is from '07.
I've always admired the Sunshine Blue.....it's on the wish list. I must have a reblooming iris....there's an iris all budded up in the iris bed...hope weather stays warm enough for it to open.....
Great colors in all the photos, considering it's late September.
Ya what BostonArea6A said.
I want the one Bill has, what was it?
debi i have 4 different variety - dark knight, they were on the side towards the shade garden - snow fairy which were in the bunch in front white/green var. - sunshine blue with all yellow leaves, and summer sobet green yellow var. - although that last one was tough to notice with sunshine blue right next to it.
I think it was the sunshine blue one
I lost my snow fairy the year after I planted it
:(
your purple dome is ahead of mine
Mine has opened about like yours, Jo....am waiting for my large chrysanthemum to open!
Pretty JoAnn. You are still getting some nice late blooms. My 'Purple Dome' are at the same stage too. Mums are either gone already or pretty ratty looking and stunted from the drought.
mine are open will get some shots tonight or in the morning.
I ordered one of the big football mums from Bluestone....it's all budded....just waiting....
I got a bunch from that mum co-op... 2 are open.. the rest are on the way
I bought mums a month ago. Four for 20 dollars .They look pretty good and a few are just started bloominh. The rest were in bloom when I bought them.
Jen the squirrels usually eat mine
Love the calendula popping thru the asters!!
I didn't plant any calendula this summer, & I'm sorry I didn't....looks so nice with the blues.
