Well, I'm sorta better, but my side is still hurting, it's on the outside and I think that's connected with bone, not cartilage. I think I pulled a muscle, my mom thinks I have pleurisy, Dave says I pay $400.00 a month for medical insurance, so I made a dr appt tomorrow morning at 9:10am, plus I'm still hacking stuff up anyway, BUT I have a dentist appt tomorrow at 8am and that will last an hour on the nose. The dr is about 15 minutes up the freeway, so I'm going to tell the dentist that they HAVE to hurry!! LOL

The dentist took 30 minutes and no cavities, for once!! Woo Hoo!!!!
My Hot Dr. did a copd/asthma test and now it's documented, finally, that I am borderline asthmatic, which I've known that for about 10 years but have never had a test done so it's nice to be certain, so he gave me a Symbicort inhaler and that should knock this crud out! He didn't even look at my side, but that's ok.

good news crissy . i m sure once you stop caughing your side will feel better. Always nice to have a Dr. Dreamy !!

did my first day at my apple orchard job. 70 gals of apple cider we made . friday we make 100 !! then in the peak season we make up to 200 yikes.

Well, we went in the hospital at about 3 am this AM-they are trying to slow labor to allow the steroids for lung development to take affect-could be another 12-36 hrs before Jonathan comes. Will update after, but will not be on much til then-just didn't want any to worry. Please copy to DG as my membership ran out today over there-LOL-what timing!! Chris had went to Minneapolis just yest and had to turn back around this am and drive back-poor guy

I was wondering where Stacey was all day today. I hope those steroids work fast, we want him to be healthy!

Oh Gosh....guess he's going to be a little impatient one! Hope all goes smoothly.

I just called Stacey and got an update. She is still in the hospital, but bored....they have given her stuff to hold off delivery and they're hoping that they can keep her from delivering before 7:00 am tomorrow. So it's a waiting game right now.

Her water broke about 2:00 am yesterday morning. That's why she went to the hospital. She's not having much pain or many contractions.

Chris did make it back and he was so tired...she felt so bad for him.

They finally let her eat last night and she said until that happened she had been in a really, really bad mood, but Chris got her some food and then she felt better.

She said there probably won't be any news until sometime tomorrow morning or so.

I got Janice's phone number so we can check up on her if we don't hear anything for a while...

I was just going to text her since I'm not getting anything done anyway, I know I had her phone number cause she text me when she got her due date. I'm just losing it! LOL

My medical insurance rates are not going up this year!!!!!!!!!!!! If they did I was going to have to opt out, they're already taking $200 out of each paycheck, biweekly, I can't handle anymore.

they take 187 a week out of my husbands check for insurance

thats good news crissy, hope mine is the same ...our renewal is next month...I can't afford to have any more taken out for sure!!!

OUCH, that's pretty steep medical insurance! Sure glad I live in Canada. Ours is hidden in our taxes, so we don't see it. I really don't know how we'd be going to the Dr's with med insurance like that!

And that does not cover everything. That covers maybe 80%, then there are co-pays, and deductibles!

i have a neighbor who last year almost died ! and was in the ICU and her insurance told her " that was voluntary " so they didn't find it necessary to pay it ? or a portion of it ! imagine .
i was also watching Boston Medical and a man died cuz his insurance didn't pay for a test that could have saved his life ! ummm something is wrong with this picture folks ? !
they raised our insurance $150 ! this year. and we are healthy !! non smokers, semi drinkers LOL o k o k its just me the drinky poo girl on girls nights lol but seriously no meds , healthy eating .... ok but i do need cake once a year.

Yep, the insrance companies tell us what we need, not the Dr.'s! If the Dr. orders something that is not covered by the insurance, we don't get it, unless we pay out of pocket. Dental is an extra insurance all by itself, very expensive, so most don't have it. Also vision and hearing is not covered.

Yes, the insurance tell the drs how they're going to treat us, it's insane. I know Betty's right and that's why he didn't look at my ribs yesterday, I was in for my cough, not my pain in my ribs, so he looked at my cough and if the pain in my ribs gets worse or doesn't get better I'll have to make another appt. It's getting better every day so poo on it.
