Should not make landfall before downeast Maine on Saturday, but could come close enough to do some tidal and surf damage to coastal areas, 40-50mph winds with gusts too. A nice dump of rain inland would be nice after a week of hot temps. It is still a long way off so just keep an eye out for updates throughout the week. Waving hey to Earl as he passes by at a safe distance would be a good thing.

They say it will zip on through once it gets up this way, so the holiday weekend could be okay, at least most of it. Timing as they say is everything.

Yes - even the solar couldn't prevent a decent-sized bill. But it was only $135. But we were away a week. Was higher in July - about $250.
