I forget those sleepless nights, & Garret, who suffered from ear infections, gave me plenty.
I had 3 months of colic with my daughter
We had about six or seven months of it with our older guy, Jen! Was a nightmare. Surprised I did not drive off the highway.

Garret never had colic.....rarely spit up.....never threw up until he was about 10, & had the flu. Of course we were on vacation with friends.....

From my hike today - this was 'Camp Roosevelt', from the depression days. Built by the CCC to provide shelter for homeless.
And this is one of the buildings in a camp run by the masons. Check out the tree through the roof!
We have a house like that not far from here with a tree growing up through it too...always made me wonder. I love the fieldstones!!! Don't tell Bill where this is......

I went fishing today on Fire Island, just off the Hamptons.
After doing some fishing I decided to take a little walk on the shore.
Sun was starting to go down, (see shadow above), when a group Sandpipers decided to do a late afternoon run.
