Miscellaneous Shots - Part 5
your dress looks great too Celeste.. you did good!!!
love the hot pink shoes! Glad the day was great.
Victor great shot of the bee but the eye part is a bit creepy! LOL
Oh my goodness, thank you everyone for the lovely comments! I passed out very early yesterday...didn't realize how exhausted I was!!
The hot pink shoes is typical of my DD, it was one of her wedding colors and I knew from raising her that dressed in all white was just too traditional for this child! LOL She's a lovely mix of old school and a unique style all her own. For instance..... She LOVES 80's music, so there was alot of that at the wedding, she wore pearls & diamond accessories, her hair was done is an Audrey Hepburn type style, she had the traditional something old, something new....,
Flip side..... She did not get married in a church, had her brother walk her down the isle and give her away, well, you saw the wedding party's entrance! She danced with me instead of her Dad, had her Groom wear sandels not shoes with his tux,(because thats just not him), her Garter set was a surprise for the groom also.....they were green and white w/a gold football emblem on them and they said JETS!! LOL Lots of other little unique things she did that just made it seem right, because complete traditional is just not my Tarsha!!
I forgot to post this before but this is when he went to pull the garter off. He felt the emblem with his fingers, his eyes lit up and what he did next sent us all into laughter...except maybe Tarsha, who was a bit pink!!!
It does, doesn't it?! How nice and what a lovely gesture.
Yes, she's been a friend since age 10, & although she lives in Foxboro, we still see each other frequently.
Cute scene there of Tarsha and the overly pleased groom, Celeste! lol
Marilyn - that is a lovely tree....such a nice memorial gift....I'm sure Garret is very pleased to have it!
Yes, he is.....you know what they say about the cobbler.....as a landscape architect he's very slow about planning his own landscape, & everything he does have growing is a gift from someone....mainly me.
He could do a LOT worse! lol
He does arrange them much better than I do!
Great pic!
Very pleased with this one....I think im going to like them!! LOL
love that shot!!!!!
Nice.
Thanks, im pretty pleased with the preview! I can't wait to see the pics of the ceremony....almost all of mine were blurred. Brian had control of the camera at that time and he didn't change the settings....but he wasn't nervous!! LOL This is the only one that came out. Tarsha was about to cry and Joshua made her laugh at the right moment. He's a great little brother she said, you can see the tears still in her eyes........
Wonderful photos.....I was looking through Garret & Kara's the other day with tears in my eyes......
Beach photo is WOW !!!
Very nice photo, Celeste!
Nice rocks, and I like the tree too!
I have friends who camp in the Berkshires, they want me to go with them next spring....they said it's beautiful.
ooh, Bill - that's a character builder for you to leave them behind.!
The Berkshires are very nice......you should go Celeste - and stop by to see us on your way!
That looked like fun....great to get kids involved with nature....Pixie, the Berkshires are among my favorite places....Great Barrington is close to me, there's an orchard I love there.....Red Lion in Stockbridge, shops in Lee, Mass Moca in North Adams....
Oh look at all that traffic! It's great when you have time to get a good pic!
