So I cut back the area there, and pulled out the poor bananas, potted them up.. The MG that is creeping around everywhere grows roots at the leave joins. Reminds me of a Philo..

Lovely blooms Debra. Wish I knew the name of your first bloom.
Offhand it doesn't ring a bell. Wonder if it could be a cross?

Debra, what a nice selection you have, You take great photos too. I enjoyed looking through this thread. I've been having some health issues lately, so If I don't post much, it is because of that, nothing else, just can't seem to keep up with everything lately.

My Icrohomas all made seed pods in Southern California, have your's made seed pods yet? I had a couple of varieties, maybe that is why.. I don't know but they sure are neat, mini-brug like..flowers.. I loved them.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Thanks, Jackie and A.. I only have the Purple queen Iochroma, it winters over in my Basement Garden and blooms all winter. I have had a few seed pods, but they drop before I can get to them. I work full time, so it is hard to keep up.
Do you have the blue Iochroma? I would love to get one of those.

This volunteer Messina Creeper is blooming. Time to trim it again. I found I can trim it to keep it manageable. Ut Oh, I see a seed pod..

There is a company in CA that sells them in small four inch containers, but I can't remember the name right now. I had four different ones, now I don't have any, I left almost everything there that I thought would not survive here. I'll go back and try to find out where I got them. I may have gotten the name of that company from the Brug Forum in 2003/2004 but to find that thread... They are a mail order company too they also have a catalog that they send out I do remember that, and the company name is that of the owner (a lot of help I am).

Annies Annuals has one . for 12.95, but the shippping is 28.00? I think I can wait until spring to find one, don't spend any time looking for me .. Did you want a cutting of this one? I have three nice size plants I have to cut back on this fall.
This little guy really likes the cardinalis lobelia. I have three kinds of it in my back yard. They come back after winter. This year it looks like I will have hundreds of seeds from them.

The stictocardia and coral vines out front had to be cut back, and they are in a blue tub rooting. I sure hope I see some blooms before summer is out from them..

Xiongs Chinese recovered from its severing as well.. I had to cut about 8 vines away from the barrell poles as they were in pots sitting around it, and I needed to make room on the patio there in that area..As soon as the bean patch became vacant, I moved us all in..
