Today's Weather in your Garden - 75
Sorry to hear about the boat Pixie, hope it can be fixed.
- Yes I saw a very nice show of the Perseids from the Virginia countryside once, not the darkest skies but darker than NY, counted about 7-8 /min.
78°, wind SSE 0.7mph, Rh 76%, mostly cloudy
Thanks WC, it's the starter and it's my brothers boat, the darn thing weighs a ton.....ours will just have to do in the mean time and it's much lighter :)
Sounds good, you'll save some gas with the lighter boat too...
True! he has a 17ft. Baywatch.....Fiberglass, need I say more?
I visualize a boat named Baywatch as having two large pontoons.
LOL, you would!
84 67% humidity
Forgot to say, it hit 94° today
Sunny, 75 degrees and a variable wind. Not quite as humid as yesterday I think.

Humid conditions, but the soil is dry.

91° but humidity is only 38%
low 70s & slight breeze. Left the windows open upstairs.
Hit 91. Now is 87 with 44% H. Will this ever end??????????
We've never had the a/c on as much as this year. We'll be looking for some tarp money when the electric and water bills come in.
Please don't give them any ideas!!
crazy right.. well good news... after using the wood stove all last winter... the gas guy FINALLY caught us home to read the meter... FREE gas bill... this month!!!... I can't wait to get the paper statement and see how much they over charged us
I'm actually looking forward to needing heat. Don't often say that.
Great shot, WC! (Though I would not have focused on a boat. ^_^)
Just back from Rochester where it was hot & humid.....CT is worse...my house is like an oven, the kitchen floor is only half done, I cannot even walk in there to get a glass or a spoon....oh, well. On a happier note had a lovely luncheon with JoAnn & Polly. And I'm heading to Newport for the day tomorrow.
ooohhh we already have halloween on the brain.. Randy is going to start building stuff this weekend
Welcome back, Robin! same weather everywhere. Glad you met up with some DGers!
i have to take a picture of the pond - close to the lowest level i have seen - many plants are suffering.
Had a very short rain shower while I was laying down some mulch and planting the last of the sedum I bought(finally).
What is rain??
wet stuff, looks like drops, very rare in these parts...
☺!
We had about an inch 2 nights ago, but you wouldn't know it.
Enjoyed the scenic photo.
75*f with 97% humidity @ 8AM this morning. We had a brief shower last night, not enough to help. I'll be running the soaker hoses on the larger trees today. We watered for 4-5 hours yesterday. AC's in overdrive. I never thought watering could be such hot work, Ric
(- very cool ☺)
76°, wind NNE 0.6mph, Rh 81%, cloudy
need rain here
