Sunny, 74 degrees and a light SE wind. No rain here either and looks like little chance for any again today. Been hand watering but it is so dry. The powdery mildew has appeared so spent a while early this morning spraying with 10% milk solution to nip it in the bud so to speak. Really need some rain, best chance probably wednesday. Heat and humidity return tomorrow.

Sun is breaking through the overcast clouds of early morning now. Noticeably more humid. Temp is 74 degrees with a 5-10mph variable south wind. They keep pushing any chance of rain showers off another day, now thursday is best chance. Really need some rain. A five minute shower would even be appreciated at this point.

Yes, I realized how humid it was when I decided to walk home from the garage.....it's only 2 miles, but the last part of the journey is straight uphill.....I made it up to the dam picnic area & sat & drank water for 10 min......my face is still beet red. Not a drop of rain yet, but maybe late today.
