No photos? I saw the greatest koi pond yesterday. the koi (about 20) came right up to you and were reaching out of the water for food. They were huge--some would feed a family of 4! Unfortunately, I did not have my camera w/me.
In the 80s now. Must get out & mark the irises DH dug this morning. They have taken their own sweet time about drying after being washed. Still have the SDBs to do and supposedly rain tomorrow morning.
Sunny and breezy today. Temp currently is 87 degrees. Nice day. Hoping for some showers tomorrow so I won't have to drag the hose around again. Out to finish deadheading the lavender that seemed to poop out early this year.

Still 83*F 59%, it clouded over a few times today but no rain :-{ It took both of us close to 3 hours to water this morning. There's no rain forecast till Sunday. I'm hoping my DIL keeps the watering up next week while we are away. Ric

79 today and low humidity. DD's riding lesson was fine except for the horseflies.
ugh.. hate them!!!
These guys hide in the corn field and wait to come out when the horses are sweating. Some times they chase whoever is out there.
the one bit me and it must have it a vein... spouted out like a geyser.. hurt like heck too
