Burd_Fotos - lots of nice pics. I especially likes the male Ruby-throated Hummingbird.

ducbucln - that photo of the White Pelican flying over is fantastic. AND that California Quail is a pretty bird.

nanny_56 - "Have no idea what was up with this Blue Jay!!" - me neither, but still a nice shot. AND I know what you mean about hoping your Hairy Wp keeping coming back - I have one once-in-a-while, too.

VA_Wild_Rose - neat catch of the two Green Heron playing King of the "Rock". Nice pic of the juvy Gray Catbird, too.

Lily_love - I enjoyed all your pics, but the one of the White-breasted Nuthatch was really nice.

WOW, Methodical, your Wood Thrush pics were really sharp!

tigerlily - great look of the Bushtits, wonderful detail. I've never heard of, let alone seen, a MacGillivray's Warbler - thinks for sharing.

MargaretK - nice series of the two Kookaburras stealing nesting material. I wonder if one was keeping watch. I also wonder what would have happened had an osprey happened to come along?

Man, its hot here in Ga, s'sposed to be 100 degrees this weekend.

I sat out in my car, in the hot shade this evening and snaped these photos.

The first two are of a male and a female Goldfinch. He sat on top of the feeder the whole time she feed.

Here's the female GOFIN eating.

I reckon he is her mate. They stayed near each other the whole time I observed them.

It looks like he is watching her. She was right below him.

I don't know if the next three are a Cardinal family or not, but these visited.

Here's the male.

And my last one is a Mourning Dove. I didn't see as many as I usually do.

Wow!! Some really great shots on this thread. Lots of variety from top to bottom and from all around the world. Anyway, it is about time to start a new daily pics thread and I've been asked to do it. I will be back with a link to number 338 shortly. Here tis: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1119354/
