LOL Jaye's fav color PINK!!!! lol.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Cindy that is gorgeous!!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I'm okay with pink in the garden, just not as accessories.. or in quilts!!
Cindy, I like the pedestal standing in the middle of the pond. Did you make that?
The way you had the turtle spewing water into the pond, that's genius.
Beautiful pond, Cindy.

After having experienced the bliss of a pond @ Cookie's, I think everyone should have one, if space permits.
Kel says yes to my wishes, but I know I have to hire someone to dig that hole for me!! Or rent a Kubota!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

LOL me too Jaye. I do not like pink or orange clothing but love them in flowers. Yes I did make the birdbath. It was the very first mosiac (SP) I ever did. It is a large flower pot 12" I think with a 12" saucer. I thought the birds would like it but so far I have not seen any taking a bath in it. They use the one that is further back in the picture. But there is a Ruby throated hummer that like to bath in the water shooting out of the turtles mouth. I tried to get a pix of him one day. Was with in 2 feet just getting ready to click the camera and my mom walked out the door. UGH!!!!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good job there for your first try.

(thunder)Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

very pretty Cindy...

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I say Cookie should come to my house and build me a pond;)LOL

Great news Crissy!!

Morning everyone-I got the cutest things from Auntie M yesterday for Jonathan. I have to work this am, but will take pic and post ASAP:)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hurry Tink, we are waiting!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Morning all... just talked to sis Kathy and she's waiting on her MRI results.
So far, no accidents thanks to Michael's persistent help in making sure she gets to her appointment safely!

Can't wait to see what Maid M got you Stacey.

I read on FB that you've been wishing for no more rains, LK.
Looks like you might have to borrow Maid M's ark!
It's been raining here for two nights now, but short ones and just enough to get the plants hydrated.
This also keeps the temps. bearable.

A Saturday jaunt today, and Cookie, if you're lurking, I'll be looking the Heavy weight fusible for you. Only have the light one..
hope your foot is healing well.

Have a fantastic Saturday sistahs!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Well you will have to wait for Tink to post what I sent. LOL You will never know how much work it was not to let it slip what I had found for her.

Off to Gainesville for a "let's celebrate we made it 20 years and birthday party" tonight. Will return tomorrow. have a great weekend all.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Whoever has a Birthday, I hope it is a Grand one!

Jaye, what is the MRI on please? I thought she broke her wrist?

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh, Jaye, I wish you didn't go to that expense for me...we've been missing you on the memory thread....

Foot is getting better, thanks...big tour with Taynors today. Fun but a long day....I'll be ready to hit the hay tonight for sure! Tomorrow is another tour..pond tour this time and Bertie and I are both excited. You can never tell what will ring your chimes!

Okay, tink...let me know when you have all the stuff for your pond, and I'll come do it! :O)

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Cindy the pond is beautiful ~~~~~GREAT JOB !

Linda Kay ,Please send us some rain !!!!!!!!!! The weeds are even begging for a drink.........LOL

Crissy, Congrats to you and Dave on the job interview !!!!!

Yesterday I went for my CT Scan.....Now the wait : ( .......I have to be one of vey few that are praying they find something wrong......ROFLMBO,But Moma went with me and after the test we went to Fashion Bug shopping. It was sooo exhausting, but AWESOME !!!! Momma and I haven't done anything like that in well over a year.

Today my Beautiful Tracy and her Momma,my Aunt Donna came up for a visit.Tracy,Momma ,Aunt Donna and I all went to lunch. And then Rick came over to Momma's to see Tracy.Such a glorious day for us all to get to spend a few hours together. It was very hard to see Tracy in the condition she is in with no hair and so swelled from the steroids, but I held it all together until I got home alone.
Tracy was so excited to see the colt, she (the colt) is 2 months old today. And her momma is putting a little weight on her leg when she walks,so that is a good sign.A fella that my step brother knows gave us another horse. This poor guy hasn't been tended to very well,he is 6 years old and had never tasted grain, just grass and hay.You can see the poor guys ribs.Plus studs air harder to have, so this morning he lost his manhood......

Hope all have a great Sunday.....

OK-I took a pic of what I got on Friday as I was getting my breakfast ready:
It is a Stitch backpack, Jonathan's first little Stitch in it's arms and his very own Stitch ornament-sorry, didn't take the ornament out of the box, but turned it so you could see the drawing on the side. Stitch is sitting on a wrapped present:)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Stacey, Maid M, that is just way too cute!!

Tulsa, OK(Zone 7a)

Stacy i have a address on four meadows is it right or wrong been up since 5 going to go soon mail it.. let me know if up aboutok? thnaks

Hello everyone.. blessings.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Yup Twyla-that is correct:) You are too sweet.

Auntie M did do a great job. I was talking to my mom when I opened it and squealed. I always said when we had kids they would have a little backpack to take places and put their crayons or legos or whatever in it to keep them busy in public. I hate people that take their kids to a restaurant or elsewhere with nothing for the child to do and then expect them to sit and behave or they expect the staff and the place to entertain their child. Now Jonathan will have his very own Stitch activity backpack to take when we go out:)

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

See??? You've already got good "Mom" instincts!

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

LOL-if you say so;)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

We all say so, Tink. ....when he gets older, we will show him the real Stitch that "spits" on you at Disney. LOL

Lancaster, OH(Zone 6a)

Aww that stitch is soooo cute.. We love stitch here and watch the movies from time to time as well..

That pond is beautiful! I really would love a pond here but Max says so long as we are renting and with all the landscaping I do its more than enough.. lol So I go visit my MIL and her beautiful back yard pond.. Its not as bg as Cindy's but she has koi, a waterfall and some really cool frogs..

Boring day today just puttering around the house cleaning and organzing everything so I can figure out what can go into our upcomming sales on ebay, ety, ect ect .. Trying to get everything organized and figuring out my days.. I may have figured out a way to raise our funds for my reversal alot quicker than we had planned.. In all my research I couldnt find a affordable doctor close by but I did find a clinis in Columbus that takes egg donors for women who cant conceive.. This got me thinking and honestly what I think is a wonderful way to help give a miracle to a couple who cant have one and help us with the cost of getting our own little miracle. They pay 5000 after the retrieval and all costs are taken care of during the process of getting ready to retrieve the eggs. Th compensation would cover our surgery in full short off travel to the clinic in TN.. So I filled out the forms after talking to Max about it and am now waiting to see if I qualify for the program or not so please say alittle prayer for us to be accepted....I already quit smoking ~ 1 week clean and have been riding my exercise bike every morning to get the rest of me back in better shape..

Well I here the kids .. lol I think they want grilled cheese & Chicken for lunch so I better get cooking..
Bear Huggs
Donna

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hey DOnna, sure hope you get accepted in that program. That sounds nice that you can help others in need, and helping yourself also!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I'm here but not for long!
That's a very brilliant gift, Maid M. Jonathan's first tote!!
When more gifts come in, please share pics with us Stacey.

LK, Sis Kathy's doctors had to find out why her bp went too low. Just wishing that they find nothing wrong and that she can regulate it with diet....
prayerful thinking..

Sweet Synda, yup... we've been praying that they DO find something and bring your life back to normal.

Awesome news there Donna. If it's in His will, He will make a way for you to have that child.

Cookie, can't find it at the 2 LQS!!!! Sorry sistah..

Well.. I'm off.. lunch is over.. see you all later!!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Jaye, what are you looking for?

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Hello ladies,

Donna saying prayers here for you.

LOL Stitch how cute Stacey.

Synda GF!!!! so good to see you post with all that is going on with you. Saw your pix on FB looks like you had a wonderful time. Boy Doug and I are both antsy to get back to ridin' but will be another 2 weeks at least :( He was able to find a guy in Marysville to do the work at half of what they wanted here i Auburn. I'm so glad. I am going down Friday to stay with him until Tuesday. I told him we are going to the river swimming I am not sitting in the house all day watching tv. He loves the boob toob, lol.

Still digging the hole for the fish pond. Lots of rocks and roots ugh :( but I am pretty close to get it done. Then will line it with a old piece of pond liner and sand then put the new pond in. The people next door lost their house and when they moved out they left behind alot of man made rocks. So I have getting them to put around the pond. Can't wait to get this puppy finished, lol.

Some more lilies in my garden.

We have a doe that wanders in every now and then. She has been sampling some of the flowers. Mostly my purple and white pansy. Everytime there are a good bunch of flowers she nibbles them off. She even "trimmed" a Hollyhock that mom had been waiting for it to bloom. We have not had any deer around here in years. Used to have a big buck that would sleep under the loquat tree. He was old though so I think he has crossed the Rainbow Bridge as we have not seen him in about 2 years now.

Ok gotta get back to digging

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Well the pond is FINISHED!!!!!!! Boy you don't know how tempting it was to get in it, lol.
Now tomorrow I will do the plants and stuff around it. And put out my frogs that I got from LK in the FROGGY SWAP YAY!!!! I'm so glad it's done

Ooops forgot to post pix

I had to laugh at Doug....he went to a going away party Saturday night and it lasted until sometime yesterday. He is very hung over and his chest muscles hurt from playing horseshoes. Said he was getting to old to drink alot of beer, lol. Has been laying on the couch all day today.

Cindy, that is a lot of work, and it is very nice. Are you going to have flowing water?

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

yep I am going to try to make the water flow from one pond into another
Plus there will be a sprayer in the middle
will post pix tomorrow with the finished results

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

And just where do you find all this energy!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

LOL, well it comes and goes. Mom has had the pond for almost 2 years and it was in a big box taking up room in the garage. Doug and I are going to be making birdhouses and other things soon so I needed to clear out some stuff in the garage. Plus I am taking advantage of the cool weather we are having. Come Thursday we are going to be in the triple digets for about 3 or 4 days.

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh Cindy that will be so beautiful w/one pond to the other ! Yes we rode the bike to Tappan Lake yesterday,I kinda paid for all my running today. But it was all very worth it !!!!!We definitely have to get a different seat for the bike......Rick has a nice saddle seat for his butt and I get a sliver that make my butt go numb......and that's a lot of numb !

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good morning sistahs!!
Hope today will be a good day for all. Prayers go out to all in need.

How are you feeling lately Synda? Have you been getting some sleep?

Cindy, that pond is just the perfect size for me. So when will you come down to do mine?
So you're feeding a doe now. I've been lucky that the deers didn't graze my garden, guess there's enough vegetation in the woods across. Each year I worry that the hunters might bag one of them.

I'm glad that my mobility has improved since I took myself off Lantus.
Thank God for available info online, if not I'll still be arguing with the doctors.

LK, did I tell you that we finally saw a hummer? But that one hummer gives us hope that maybe there'll be more next year!

Got to bring FIL to the doctors, out of state.
Thank God the drive is only 1 hr. long!

See you all later.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

WOW Cindy that is nice!!! I think I would have gotten in it! LOL

Synda that's just uncomfortable! Just thinking about it makes my butt go numb! Glad you got to go but sorry your paying for it today.

I've got to get to work here lol

Good morning Ladies..

Cindy wow you did a nice job on getting that in there... Thats abou the size I want too~ What kind of plants are you putting in or around it? Need a special one? Lucky you it was in the garage..

Synda what a great way to spend a day,, We go bike riding as often as we can but lately we have not made it out.. Th eold house was right by the bike path that goes all through twn and now we have to travel down a main road to get away from the house.. Still trying to figure out the quickest way off that raod on bikes.. lol Walmart has a nice saddeseat for about 20... I need one for mine too! Hehe

Hi LK ~ Thanks for the positive thought~

Sorry I didnt make it back yesteray. We had some really bad storms blow through later in the day and then Max got home and after it quit storming we worked on leveling out the driveway with the picks and a rake..

Unfortunately I was denied for the egg donor program due to my BMI being to high.. Bahhhh Humbug! I really hate it when people judge your weight by the number and your hieght.. what about body frame for goodness sake Im not as huge as my weight would indicate -- Grr sorry ust makes me crazy...
One option left but Im not talking until I know if it will work or not...

Anywho better run Im waiting on a phone call from a college counsler from University of Phoenix.. I would hate to lose everything I typed because a call comes through :)

OO Have to share.. Maxs family has been psting pics... Look at how cute my hubby was when he was lil.. Hes the one in the black Hat

Morning everyone! Sorry you got denied, but like you said, maybe there are other ways? Keep us posted.

Jaye, make sure you keep the sugar water full in those feeders, and maybe put up more feeders? They will come. Drive carefully today.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Good Morning Ladies,

Thanks LOL I am paying for it today. It is taking me awhile to get a move on this morning.

Donna, as for plants I'm not sure what to plant. The area gets the early morning sun until about 11 then is shaded the rest of the day. I have a Bleeding Heart that is in a big pot that I am going to plant in the corner. I have 2 hostas and a Christmas Fern also that I want to plant in this area. So what other plants would you recomend? I would like some flowering plants.

This pix is of the area I am working on and the two ponds that I want to have flowing into each other. Not sure how I am going to make it work but I will figure something out.
