Great beautiful shot Linth. Thanks for the new thread.
Hack, if you look in Marna`s 3 Red-winged Blackbird shot, you`ll be able to see, she got a butterfly as well.

Good eye, girl. I had to go back and look.

Mama, did you even know it was there until burn pointed it out?

Nice collection Burd. Always fun to see a variety.

Adel those swallows are adorable. I love in the las thread, the one of a little one looking out. too cute.

Yah hack, I knew the butterfly was there. Considered cropping it out, but left it in. I don't think I knew it was there when I was taking the pix though.

Lovely collection Burd! Great shots by everyone on this thread!

Norman, OK

Yep. Lots of variety. My BB's fledged yesterday, but missed it. So no pics. I fed Daddy worms this a..m. and he took them to the top of an 80-foot tall pecan tree down on the creek. Checked with my binocs, but so much foilage, I couldn't spot any fledlings.

So I just took bug pics.

Another.

In nature, structure implies function. Darwin figured that out. An interesting little butterfly with an eye spot and appendages resembling antennae on the opposite end of the real head.

Another odd looking character on my Desert Willow.

It's hot here too so my birds are taking breaks in the water more often. Here's my juvie Brown-headed Cowbird.

Duc, Those juvy Orioles are adorable!

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Duc, I meant to say; your juvie Orioles cracked me up watching them right-side up, or up-side down. Seem like they're a playful bunch. Love them.

Can't help but loving this innocent look on these juvenile N.Cardinals.

This baby Swallow left the nest too soon. It was flapping like crazy but unabe to fly. All the adult Swallows were going beserk so after a merry chase I was able to catch it and put it back in the house it came from.

I don't know if I was being thanked for rescuing the baby or being cussed out.

I'm not sure this is the same baby, but it's the house I put it in.
