Come back Jen, and tell us your OK.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Just got word she's home, tired.... they didn't find anything. I guess it could be her gallbladder. Will have to wait until she checks in for sure....but she is home and OK!! Thank Goodness!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thomaston, CT

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

glad you are ok jen

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Oh gosh, thanks everybody!!!!!!! They did ekg, blood work, cat scan. Not a heart attack, anxiety attack or blood clot. By 3AM dr didn't want to keep me there any longer but she thought maybe a gall bladder attack so am following up with my primary care dr Friday morn.
Crazy!!!!
There were some people in that ER that looked like they were just there for routine dr visit, I mean they came prepared with a book and something to eat and drink, a sweater or jacket(cause man it was COLD in there)...I was like "what??" Why are you clogging up the ER with a non emergency visit??

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Glad to hear!

Yes - many use the ER as primary care.

East Bridgewater, MA

Jen,

I know first-hand from experience the kind of fear you experienced, and I'm glad you followed the correct course, and are ok.

A health scare, especially the life-threatening kind, takes an emotional toll that is exhausting.

I'm not a physician, but I hope you might consider adding vitamin E to your morning routine. It's good for many aspects of the human body, especially circulation.

I hope I'm not being a "but-insky" ; I should just mind my own business, but I would recommend vitamin E ( as part of a larger supplement profile) for just about every american, since the average diet just doesn't have all the nutrients for ideal performance. Just my 2 cents...

Great Jen.

Aliens do visit ocassionally.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm a big believer in supplements, even though we generally eat healthy and I am a workout freak. Omega-3, B,C, zinc ans selenium are some of what I take.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Jen I'm glad they didn't find anything, but even happier that you went! That is nothing to mess around with....a girl i went to school with died at the age of 38 from a heart attack. She had discomfort in her shoulder blades, a bit of nausea and a heavey feeling in her chest, thats it. She told her girls she was going to lay down before dinner and then she 'd be fine. She wasn't, so im so glad you went!!!!!!!!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Glad you're ok Jen!

I take supplements too but I hate to workout, I see people working out and I get tired so I figure that should be enough...
I take C, selenium, Mg, D, zinc, E, Glucosamine/ Chondroitin and a Centrum daily
Every other day I add a 5-HTP, along with a Acetyl-L-Carnitine & Alpha Lipoic Acid.
I also take 3 aspirins once a week.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

5-HTP??

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

So glad your OK Jen!! Whew!! My Sis had the same symptoms last year and wanted to wait to go...no way I said let's go NOW! Turned out to be her gallbladder and in the end was a good thing...she totally changed her diet and started walking and lost quite a bit of weight feels wonderful and no more gallbladder trouble.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Okay. Yes, I knew about trypto. It's in poultry.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

Glad you're ok, Jen. I hope they can fix it if it's gallbladder.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Every women on my mom's side of the family has had gallbladder problems

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

hugs to you Jen... hope it's an easy solve

Thomaston, CT

Hope you're feeling back to normal, Jen.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Gall bladder removal is easy these days. Hopefully you'll get it done before the changes to healthcare, in which case they may have to slap it out of you.

Thomaston, CT

And doesn't that sound like fun!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

LOL

enjoying some peace and quiet, kiddies went to VBS with my neighbor.

I was drivint home from shopping and saw a tree come down and crash on a car! Thought I was seeing things.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh geez

East Bridgewater, MA

Hope no one was in that car!

Thomaston, CT

Wow, Sherrie, must have been undermined from the storm! There was a photo from the town to our north....the falling tree crushed every part of the car except for driver's seat, & he , a volunteer fireman, was the only person in the car. Not a scratch on him. Jen, glad you are getting some rest.....

No one was in the car. It was freaky to see it fall.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)
