Sorry, Jen.
Thanks, all
So sorry to herar about this loss flowerjen.
I'm so sorry.....it's so tragic to lose a child.
so sorry Jen... call if you need to talk {{{{Jen & family}}}}
Sorry for your loss Jen, Ric and Holly
Bill, A few years ago I had an infestation of some kind of long horn beetles destroy my Austrian pine from our mixed conifer planting. They didn't hurt anything else, fir, spruces, hemlock, or other pines, which I found strange. When I reported it to the extension office, the guy I was telling didn't think it was that significant. I'd have liked to given him a significant punch in the nose, I loved that tree and the contrast it put into the group. It's kinda' hard to loose a 25 year old tree. Ric
They have been found in trees across the street from the Arnold Arboretum--scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, no! Hope they are doing something about that!
So sorry for your loss Jen ((((♥♥♥))))
We had a nice week in the Poconos, just as hot and dry there as everywhere it seems! A bit cooler at night though. The doctors office called and rescheduled my epidural until next week, seems the doc was on vacation, the nerve of him☺ so we kept our granddaughters for a few days and my son and DIL went home...OMG what was I thinking! LOL Trying to entertain a 3 and 4 1/2 year old for 4 days was tough! I thought the sciatica was hard to deal with LOL! It was really fun to spend time with them and they had a ball, they are actually better without their parents...no buttons to push! It is always nice to be home though. Hope everyone had a nice 4th!
Thanks, Ronnie, I did. Know just what you mean about the kids....my GKs are 5, 3, & 2...I have them all for tomorrow.
I'm heartbroken that we're sending that redhead spy back to Russia!! Who needs nuclear scientist spies back. Dime a dozen!
I feel sorry for the teen age kids, bet they don't even speak Russian. It will make no difference to the little ones.
What is everyone planning for National Dance Day on July 31st?
Our club iris sale is that day--do a lot of bending over to pick up stuff. Is there a bending dance?
Methinks that would definitely be a move when dancing the Iris Club Sale Dance. What a luvly thing to do on National Dance Day!
My son's 40th (eek!) birthday is that day. We'll be spending a nice weekend with him and Donnie here at the farm. There may be some dancing.......Bailey and Carli are really into the tango lately!
Victor - I knew you'd be upset about that red-headed spy leaving the building! Any plans to take a vaca to Russia soon?
Sorry to hear about your niece, Jen. What a beautiful name they gave her.
Thanks, Harper.
How ya been?
Very well, thank you! Busy. I'm going to California in a few days to see about getting some regular freelance carpet design work. I'm crazy busy before and after, too! No new drawings to show. I did some sketches, and took a few classes, but nothing very productive came out of them. I have homework for one. Maybe I'll do somthing good for that, but I doubt it. I'll have to do a rush job!
My best childhood friend had a daughter that died of the same chromosome problem your niece had. It was so sad and hard to hear about it again.
Have a good trip, love seeing your sketches.
So sad.
My nephew seems to be taking it harder than his wife.
Very hard on everyone in the family. Have a great time in Calif. Harper...hope the job works out for you.
harper good luck with california!
louise how does your son turning 40 feel? :)
Thanks Marilyn and Bill!
Oooo! California has very nice weather, have fun! ☺

Have a fun trip, Harp. Hope you get some good work. Odd to hear someone going to CA to look for work! They're in pretty bad shape.
Laughed at the wine opening....it's magic!
I only bang on things to open with peanut butter jars.
Yeah, that's true, Victor. Apparently, they're still buying carpets out there. Two people are leaving postitions that they're interested in me and my friend for.
Good luck! How long will you be there?
Good luck, Harper! But don't stay too long!! We really can't let you go for long!
Bill - well, other than making it hard to fiddle with the age declaration on my driver's license, I guess I'm just happy that he is doing well and is a son to be proud of!
Good luck Harper!!
that's great louise!!
Thanks folks! You're sweet Louise. Victor, I'm only going for 4 days.
That's a neat way to open a wine bottle
