Coffee Break #41 - Happy Birthday America!
Yes it is. And all this time later, they still have not allowed foreign ships which are the best equipped skimmers in the world, to help.
Of course, but every bit would have helped. Especially if it was done right away.
After complaining about daily showers, my rain barrel is now dry, & I was using the hose yesterday....and 1st sign of rain may be Wed. There is no water ban here, but my well won't be happy. More scary stuff on the gulf.....would you eat the shrimp from there? And how long before no seafood is safe?
- And here we are telling other countries they should stop chopping down their rain-forests, collecting coral & sea-life for profit, growing poppy, etc etc, while we pollute the Gulf of Mexico with crude oil, (and who knows what other compounds are coming out of that well...), on an unimaginable, unprecedented scale. What poor 3rd world country going to listen to us and keep a straight face now?! (lol)
Not that they ever listened anyway!
lol!!
I see weeds in your garden's future, Bill. ^_^

Good thing you weren't out in the garden when Yogi came to visit RD! and I thought I had it bad with Peppy and Peppermint! Hope the bearling found his/her way safely back to the wilds. We are seeing alot of coyotes in the city due to the rabbit population explosion. coyotes please don't move under my garden shed coyotes.... please don't move under my garden shed...
Tonight is garbage night....hope the critters stay out of it...usually the barking dogs help keep them at bay, but maybe the bear was deaf....did not listen to me banging on the house, & telling him to leave, & the dogs were going ballistic......
In my experience yearlings are just plain dumb RD and more dangerous because of it.
I agree, Dnut!

Message from my nephew
" spending the night at the hospital with Michelle. Little Anya (which means "resurrection") went home to be with the Lord . Michelle and I want to thank everyone who prayed with us and for us."
My sincere condolences to you and your family Jen.
I am very sorry that you had to go through this. Wonderful to give her a name and respect her soul. Recovery will be better because of it.
