Sedate....English bulldog or bassett hound
Northeast forum Pets 5
Finally back from the coast and I can't believe how much the puppies have grown!!!!! My goodness they look so cute and completely exhuasting!! :)
My nextdoor neighbors' English bulls are not sedate...they like to run up & down the hill with Robs (which they can't do in hot weather), & tussle with one another to get my attention. I was thinking standard poodle....
We know 2 standard poodles....I love them both, but both spend a lot of time laughing at the presumed stupidity of humans. LOL They are mega-smart animals. One lives 2 houses away from us in Fla. Our girls love him and his companion who is a service dog for his blind owner. The Standard always finds a way to escape from his house (he can open doors easily) and he sometimes stops by for a visit. I almost feel guilty taking him home. He looks at me like I'm betraying his trust. We also have a bassett hound, Kirby, who is the mayor of the neighborhood there. He is awesome! I'd consider him to be sedate. I'm not wild about his barking though when his Mom stays out late and forgets to let him inside.
think this is for real???

It would only be a real offer if they don't ask you to put up any $
Can't hurt to call.
no money... eh I will send one
By all means! Sounds legit. to me! If you need a Puppy Lawyer to review a contract, I may know one. It is a unique specialty, much like an entertainment or sports hero lawyer. :)
Cute story on the dogs, Louise....poodles are extremely smart....we had a mini named Remy when I was growing up.....loved to steal my sister's food, because she was always too busy talking to eat. One of our church members was contacted by Animal Planet, Allison....they did a story on her & her family for Underdog to Wonderdog. And every Sat. they have a show Last Chance Highway where the dogs are shipped from high kill shelters in the South up to New England, so they do a lot of stuff in our area.
Both kinds of chickies are adorable! What breed are the feathered ones? How long before eggs?
What a couple of cuties!!!
Ronnie... rotisserie... LOL
Ronnie, Sophie & Luci are adorable and so are your webbed-feet friends!!
Cute kiddies and chickies, Ronnie!!
Thanks!! The feathered chickies are Bantam Cochins, they will stay fairly small. The others are Italians, the will get big!!

Those pups are going to miss each other...loved the puppy "scrum", & the Alpha who wouldn't share.....very cute personalities.
it is funny watching it develop ... the largest with the purple collar clawed her way up the couch before... over and over.. I put her down... she clawed back up... amazing how fast they progress
smart little cuties!!
Ugh - good luck! Poor pooch.
Oh gosh, poor poochie
Her bladder wasnt full. It was empty. There is still a UTI problem as I watch her try to pee and she cant. She pees frequently so maybe I am not seeing it. With in an hour she has squated 5 times.
I can spend 225 bucks on blood work and a urine test. If that did not work a thyroid test. Then they might not find nothing. So I opted to put her on one more antibiotic for 22 days! They are the size of a horse pill = arghh.
I am leaning if this dont work, I "MIGHT" take the 55 dollar option and ~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh, poor dog...stay with the course, Sherrie, unless it can't be cleared up.
aaaawwww Sherrie... hugs to you and pup
Re puppy lunging--I like the one with the red collar which is active. Good luck with your dog sherrie.
he is a lot of fun
Love that weathervane, Sherrie!
Sherrie - good luck at the vet's....poor baby! Does she eat kibble with anything yeasty in it? You might try putting her on a "no grains" regimen. The grains are often the villain with UTIs, according to our vets.
love that Sherrie... I feed the girls Evo... grain free... and the next best thing to a raw diet

Thanks all - I dont think the time, money or my energy is there. I cant let her continue to drip urine, in the house, in my car or in the garage.
I have a decision to make and I have to make the decision in a timely manner. Do I want to - yes and no. I will NOT let her suffer. Not a sentimental person but I feel something in my heart. No not my heart. my brain. It will be in the best intrest of my dog, my best friend.
you have to do what you feel is best Sherrie
Sorry Sherrie, those are hard decisions......will be thinking of you. :(
