Talk about role models, the local Chukie Cheese has a uniformed officer on duty. Ric

That does look cool. She looks like she could be her husband's daughter!
I would develop claustrophobia!! (lol)
I'm a day late Pixie but I will definitely pray for your brother, you and your family. I will even put in forward in church Sunday if you wish.
Celeste - so sorry to hear that Alan's tumors have recurred. Keeping you all in my prayers, and also hoping that Brian continues to improve!
yes Celeste... hope they both get well
Thanks everyone, it's much appreciated.
So sorry to hear this Celeste. You and your brother will be in my thoughts.
Celeste, that's so scary. Prayers going up for sure.
xoxo
Harper
Interesting article...those folks are living a different life, & it suits them.
Hope Harper is not doing this!!! ^_^

I heard of that!!! We were getting so much pressure from the top to move things along faster, but we were going as fast as we could. We had heard that another regional center was doing quadruple what we were doing and we thought that was impossible... now I know it is!
I can confidently add that our regional office (covering Putnam, Dutchess and Orange Counties, NY) was doing everything by the book!
Lastly, I'm all done in my area.
Yay Harper! Good for you!!
Ok, this made me smile and Debilu will love it!!!

Ironically, we have a zoo there....Yorks Wild Animal Kingdom, but no Moose! LOL
Glad you had a better experience, Harper! Too funny about the moose....tonight son & dil said the family was going camping between York & Ogunquit..right on the ocean....have to save this for them.
Glad to hear, Harp. Hope your co-workers were the same.
Cool Moose!
They were, Vic. They were very hard-nosed about doing everything exactly right.
Just downloaded my free Vuvuzela ringtone! Yipee!
Maybe the moose's GP recommended salt baths! LOL Ric
You're right Celeste, loved the moose. Just out for a run on the beach!
It's simple, really: the moose's GPS needed new batteries....
what did you do to them?
CHEERS!
Victor, How terrible.
Sherrie, great news
Third death from falling branches in CP....they should prune all that line the paths.
People die everyday in the city, in one way or the other, it cant be avoided, too many people and the city is huge. Years ago I scared off a robber who was holding up a lady at gunpoint, he got away with her wedding ring and ran into the subway station. When I took the lady to the cops just 2 blocks away to report the incident they seemed annoyed that I had disturbed their little congregation of 5 or 6 while having their coffee & doughnuts. ( It was Christmas time and DW and I had gone to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree.) - 'things' happen all the time, unless the media can get a headline out of it, you would never hear about it.
- Now with city budget cuts looming I expect less overall maintenance.
Be sure not to apply for the city's tourism office, WC!!
lol! - it can be a rough city, but then all major cities all over the world have their good and bad points. Large cities give a glimpse of society in general with their variety of people and cultures. If you wanted to live in a little 'shell' then you would never visit one but then your view of the world would be much smaller & limited by consequence. (-you don't discover new worlds by never loosing sight of the shore...)
this is right behind my friends house... they had to evacuate her horses & the rest of the animals
